I see 2 issues there:
She is very active at a time when the MILF genre is relatively dead. And the industry categorizes very strongly. Lisa Ann, for example, is also rarely considered a great porn star, but a great MILF performer. Basically the same, but somehow not.
The other point is Brazzers. A network with a bad reputation - good for your income, not so great for your legacy. The ladies you mentioned shot scenes of all kinds with many different studios. She shoots for a slapstick network with the worst directors.

I notice VMG and Brazzers are tow two studios that everyone loves to criticize but the bottom line is that they have to be doing something right if people are going exclusive with them. There are plenty of opportunities to work elsewhere and I don't think it's just a matter of money. I may not be the biggest fan of Brazzers or the Lansky brands but I respect the fact that whatever they are doing, has the cream of the crop wanting to stick to work with them. Consider that Cherie DeVille is a Brazzers contract star right alongside Alexis Fawx, you can't really go claiming that both are tarnishing their legacies. Cherie Deville is a continuing powerhouse who NEVER does anything she isn't into.

If you search you will find something. It's more of a "rock 'n' roll is dead" statement. It still takes place, but no longer on the big stage. Between....I don't know...2008-2015, there were hardly any movies without Lisa Ann or other Milfs. There were so many milf themed movies. Mason, for example, did not shoot a single scene with a Milf in 2021. If you consider the big players...Mason, Jordan, Adriano, the Vixen group...then on maybe 50 scenes, one comes with a Milf. That was unthinkable 6-7 years ago.I think both studios are very different. The Vixen group is certainly showering the girls with money. In addition, the studio also has a very different flair. It is porn, but somehow glamorous and of course attracts girls who might be put off by "dirty porn".
With Brazzers...I don't know. For me it's badly shot comedy porn...fast food porn. But they will pay a lot. You mention Cherie Deville. She shot 5 scenes in 2021. Where can you make a lot of money with so few scenes?
There aren't that many alternatives anymore. Most of the studios that were on top in 2005 are dead. Mason has declined sharply, Elegant Angle has disappeared into oblivion, and Jules Jordan's stuff is probably 70% vault stuff. And of course you say to yourself as a girl - I'll take the exclusive contract. Safe money for a handful of scenes.ault scenes.
My only real complaint about Brazzers is their scenes are not in 4K and/or 60FPS. I feel like the most popular adult entertainment brand on the planet should be able to afford that quality upgrade. Not being able to watch White and Fawx in 4K @ 60FPS is a disservice to us all.
Ms. Fawx is beautiful and legit looks about 15 years younger than she actually is. ^As much as I don't like Brazzers, they seem to have a solvent target audience. As much as I would like to see AF in a scene with a top guy and a top director - there is simply a sufficient number of consumers who say.... I don't care. I don't care that the director has no idea, that her partner has a mini dick, or that the scene has a clown story. At the end of the day, if networks like Brazzers are successful with their fast food porn, you can't blame them.
It's just a shame that they're taking another big name out of the already depleted talent pool and blocking him for higher quality studios.
