I totally agreed, Alexis is still for me the best Porn Star, but she deserves better possitions, angles, variotions, video quality, locations, male performers, directors, sites........
I can't imagine that some of the top directors wouldn't want to work with her. If that is the case it's likely just down to whatever conditions that Alexis may want in order to do so. I am pretty sure every top notch director would be interested in shooting stuff with her. But she isn't intrested IMO. And it seems like she isn't intrested in having sex with bigger guys on cam either. Like I said, an anal scene with Manuel woud be a dream come true. But it's completely unrealistic. Please no more Preston Parker. Agree about shooting with Manuel and Mason, surprised it hasn't happened as Mason obviously helpled establish her as a superstar with the Buttwoman series.
^ I am also very surprised that Alexis has not shot with Mason yet given their history together at EA. Seems like I'm always checking out the HardX Blog hoping for an announcement that hasn't come yet. Still, I am happy to watch Alexis in anything (although I have to admit that I'm puzzled by her male talent choices lately) and I'm grateful that she's still active in the industry. Since her return, I have really enjoyed watching Big BootyTryouts, her JJ movies and a few scenes from Buttwoman Returns. Not giving up yet but, at this point, i can only hope that she decides to make a big movie or two, working with only the best in the business, before she retires. I do think she worked with one of the best g/g directors out there, Dana Vespoli for Alexis Loves Girls, the best thing she has done since she's returned imo.
I've said this repeatedly about her working with Mason. Maybe there's bad blood there because I think of Mason making her famous with their first collaboration and Alexis' SECOND scene EVER!!! Yeah, if Alexis currently is not under contract with any other company, it would be absurd for her to not to work with Mason. Unless there's bad blood. Because we know Mason appreciates a wide range of females, not least of all those with curves.

It doesn't seem right but, I am actually disappointed by the news of a contract with EA. I've said before that Alexis deserves to work with the best in the industry and unfortunately EA just isn't that anymore. Effectively, my hope that she would work with top-notch directors like Mason and others again has been crushed. She needs to start working with better male talent like she used to otherwise her comeback seems kind of pointless to me. Her latest scene in "Texas Hoedown" doesn't even come close to anything that she has shot in the past with Mick Blue, Johnny Sins, James Deen, Ramon, or even John Strong and Jules Jordan. It doesn't matter to me that Alexis has fucked those guys dozens of times before. Maybe it's boring for her? I don't get it. Since I'm trying to stay positive I will say that something is better than nothing. At least Alexis Texas is still working and making porn. Now that Alexis has this contract she probably won't be retiring anytime soon, and that's great news, but you never really know in porn. As a long time fan I will continue to happily watch anything Alexis puts out there. Who knows, maybe the "big news" EA is hinting about is what fans have been foaming out the mouth about for years now? I'm not holding my breath though.
Mason is one thing. But she won't shoot for a company that won't let her do what she wants. She played around with JJV a couple of times, but all of those scenes were as bland as the Elegant Angel ones are now. There's no way in the word she would ever shoot for TUSHY. Aside from her girl-girl scenes she likes to control the pace of the scene with guys. Much like a couple of other models who work on their looks and are horrible performers. TUSHY is about more sensual feeling and builds up to working the girl into a faster rhythm. Some stars may even get into their style and find it pleasurable. I've never seen a scene of Alexis where she's losing control and not looking like she's faking her way through it. That's like saying you're disappointed she hasn't done a RAW scene with Manuel. He's not in there going through the motions.
It's impossible she's going to do IR. She said before she doesn't enjoy black men. Sad for her and for us. As said before the good news of the contract with EA is she's not going to retire. I was afraid she already retired, but this keeps the faith in some more porn for Alexis. About the quality... I don't think it is a question of what company she's working with. She did some scenes for Jules Jordan last years and they weren't good at all, or at least not what you expect for a star. Ok, she's overrated but has a hell of a body and has more fans than most of the pornstars. Jules Jordan or Elegant Angel... it's the same since Alexis chooses to work with bad talent, or not the best guys. Her scenes with Jules Jordan weren't better than the others she did since her return. I don't think she's going to do something great, but i'm glad she keeps working. Buttwoman resurrection?

I can't stand the criticism... The one to blame, in case, it would be Elegant Angel, for wasting their money in an "overrated" performer as Alexis. Not Alexis fault. What does Alexis should do? Say no? Refuse the money? I guess some forum members would do that. Good for her if she signs her contract and receive a million for doing nothing! But apart from opinions and personal views based on dreams or just nothing, signing Alexis Texas as a contract-girl is a good deal. She's well known, she looks good. She will attract people wether she performs good or not.

This! It's a good deal for Alexis who gets paid, but bad deal for EA. If they think Alexis still draws people the way she once did, they is wrong. EA should've gone with a new Performer, someone like Adriana Chechik, Abigail Mac, maybe even Dani Daniels in the hope she does anal. Just my opinion.
I have to respectfully disagree with Members who believe that Alexis is a bad performer who just gets by on her looks. In my opinion she works hard and has real talent. I can't think of anyone else who can move and jump on a cock the way Alexis can. Sure she embellishes at times, like many stars do, but that doesn't make her a bad performer, in my view. It's part of her job to keep the energy level high in a scene. Personally, I'd rather listen to a few fake moans than watch someone who is as quiet as mouse. I think there are plenty of examples where Alexis isn't simply going "through the motions". EA's Seduction and JJ's Fashion Fucks are two examples off the top of my head but, there have been other great scenes with Johnny Sins, Mick Blue, Erick Everhard, James Deen, Billy Glide and others as well. In Seduction I am pretty sure that the workout makes Alexis break into a real sweat. It's hot as hell! The contract is great news for Alexis and EA and I am happy for her. My guess is that EA made the deal partly because of strong sales and demand for her movies. I just don't think that it's great news for her fans because she's locked in for a year with only one studio. Let's hope she will make more than 3 movies a year. Her return hasn't been all bad. I thought Big Booty Tryouts was awesome and I enjoyed JJ's movie, especially her scene with Anikka, and a couple of scenes from Buttwoman. I will always be a fan of Alexis no matter what she does because there's just something about her that does it for me every time. Now I am eager to see what she has planned for us fans in the future since we know that she'll be around for a while.

Yes and no. Someone like Alexis Texas we already know what to expect. You still have many pornstars who could offer a lot more. If you don't want to read people's opinion, than try staying away from these types of forums. I'm just expressing my opinion and how she's done basically the same scene over and over. Since you mentioned Manuel, I've only seen two scenes of Alexis and Manuel. One was for Evil Angel "Fucked on sight" and the other was "Massive asses" which was years ago.
