Most porn-films are missing the human factor in them. Because the actors and the actresses never call each other by their first names during their encounter. Martin Buber, a famous philosopher of relationships, would probably say that modern porn looks like an 'I-It' kind of sex between the guy and the woman. And he would recommend making porn an 'I-Thou' kind of sex to make it more interesting and enthralling. Because an 'I-It' kind of sex is very limited and lifeless. Whereas an 'I-Thou' kind of sex takes away the limits and puts endless horizons on it. It's really hard for a performer to make a scene look lively with all those limitations and by default they tend to look and act lifeless. [Link] |
