The Nylons DVD looks like a good idea for the same reason; there are relatively few DVDs covering that niche - the last series I can recall was Panty Hoes, and that series stopped several years ago, but I digress.

I liked it overall but want Quasar to know that there are some lighting issues during some parts of the DVD. The Nadia Styles scene in particular is very dark and it is tough to see the action. Also, when her pussy is visible it looks like charcoal. There may be some issues with how colors appear or this might just be a symptom of the same problem. A few of the other scenes were not as bad, but not up to Mike's usual technical standards.

Hopefully Mike will read this, take a look at the DVD, and take care of these issues.

Really enjoyed the locations and work (no complaints on lighting from me), and the girls were of course gorgeous. I also liked that the scenes were relatively short.

If you're taking suggestions though, I'd like to see some more "doggie style" solo (something about a woman with her ass in the air...). Also, I'm still waiting on a solo film that has more anal and A2M in it. This one had a bit (just a couple scenes) but I'd really like to see more of a focus on it. I've only really seen one movie that was like this, which was From My Ass To My Mouth. Having said all of this, I'll be watching closely to see what unique approach you bring to this genre. One of the things I'll be looking to see is whether you manage to get your performers to appear authentic, or whether they are, well, performing. Genuine emotions, natural personality, and nice smiles are what makes solo go. Oh, and properly applied makeup doesn't hurt either. Apart from a certain amount of authenticity, what could really separate you from other indifferent solo efforts (and this is a recommendation to any others interested in trying their hand at this format) is never forgetting that the woman is the star, not the back end of a big plastic dildo, not the intrusive buzz of a vibrator, or a large kitchen implement, or whatever you can find in the vegetable drawer. If there is one thing that is annoying to many of us out there, it is the over-reliance on toys of all shapes and sizes to carry the "action". Truth be told--and I've had many, many conversations with guys about this over the years--these toys invariably obscure what many of us really want to see, which are clear, unobstructed views of a woman's pretty, manicured fingers holding her pussy lips wide open for deep inside views. We prefer a more interactive feel to the proceedings, Which is why masturbation--essentially a solitary, private activity--is not exactly the best approach, especially if m'lady is concentrating on her big, thick dildo and ignoring us. That's why many of us like posing so much. Teasing and posing, from its most seductive and innocent forms to the most explicit and wide open variety, is all done for one reason, to arouse someone else. Someone who's watching. By defiiniton posing is done for someone else, not for oneself. That's what makes posing so wonderfully participative. It's what made centerfold photography so classic.

Of course, in the hands of a skilled director and performer, the voyeuristic appeal and the interactive approaches can be blended into something we can all enjoy. I would submit to you, however, that most commercial productions are completely blind to what it is that has fueled much of the solo genre all these years. It isn't just throwing a gal on a bed, tossing her a dildo and vibrator and saying, "Let 'er rip." Without the personality, without the tease, without the understanding of what it is many of us like to see, many will simply say, "I knew that there wasn't really any money to be made in solo stuff."

Here's hoping you and others bring a fresh perspective to an often stale approach. Having said that, I always thought how many more Playboy videos would have sold (and how many sold as it was?) if the gals showed us wonderful closeups of of spread pussy and ass. The 12 Nasty Girls Masturbating series has more close-ups (too many, in my opinion) but is not as strokeable as this DVD.

Achieving the right balance of genital close-up and full body / face shots is a key pornographic skill. Another key skill is having a sense of when to switch from one angle to another and have the result flow seemlessly. This is one of Mike's pornographic strengths in my opinion.

Masturbation DVDs can have more close-up shots than regular DVDs, in my opinion. I want to see the pink velvety folds and hear the lubricious sweet sounds, but I also want to see the rest of the woman from time to time.

As far as the 12 Nasty Girls series, yes, the girls are over the top at times, but I do appreciate the plethora of spread shots, as well as the way the camera gets the girl's face in the picture at the same time we look at her pussy.
