It has been proven in the trends that we have seen the market lean toward. The fact that a greater number of companies now shoot interracial and now are getting into the all black market is proof of my point. Hell just pick up and AVN and you will see what I mean.
SOme of these companies are the very ones who would not shoot any black talent.

Alexander, I actually shoot the video, and we have never met, if you are referring to Yani, he no longer works for me, and hasnt for a long time, and he ONLY shot hardcore when i was performing in a scene, so i'm not sure what your point is with this statement. Are you saying that what you are doing is groundbreaking? I have seen some of your movies, and it is obvious what your influences are, other than the lighting. -I've always found it best to let the fans determine what products/directors to hype up, you seem a little jealous your not included in discussion.
As far as sales go: I have sold porn for about 7 years, in stores and for IVD (if you dont know what that is ask any salesperson) I have inside sales knoweldge, Interracial does not sell as well as "non- interracial" in general, depending on the market, i've worked at a store on market street and 3rd in Philadelphia, and even there all black movies were not the best selling titles, I'm sure at WCP all black and interracial are certainly the best selling. Sure interracial sells well, especially on the east coast but not better.
I was actually thinking of shooting Black Ass Worship, maybe I'll come over to WCP and shoot it....
-alexander, the mark of a true director is not being told what to shoot, shoot whats in your heart, if u are true it will come out.-I have seen a few volumes of interracial sex shooter, shooting in harsh light and seeing camera shadows ruins a fantasy sequence. Do you also edit?-so your saying what I do is not groundbreaking, therefore i must not be putting energy and effort into what I shoot? I do stills, video, perform, edit and layout boxcovers, i consider myself the hardest working director in porn.

This Alexander DeVoe is quite the character. You've got to have an ego the size of Ben Affleck's forehead to try to knock Jules' work.
Two questions to ask oneself when disecting Jules' work:
1. Is he the most innovative director of his generation? Yes.
2. Is he the best at what he does? Yes.
I could rant all night about why this dudes statements are beyond ridiculous. The last guy that came in here raving about the "quality" of his work left me severely under-whelmed when I finally got around to seeing some of it.
Let the work speak for itself, and don't try knocking the one person who is universally loved as a director on this board.
P.S. Jules, please just shoot an all black film. If for no other reason than to just spite this DeVoe character.
Me too, though I'm always left wondering aloud why all these girls who look like that (totally amazingly hot) aren't in my porn films, instead it's a much more mixed bag, and there are a lot of bad homemade/gang tattoos.
As for Jules, if JJ made an all-black DVD with all-hot black girls, I'd buy it in a second, but then, I tend to buy anything Jules does that's filled with all-hot girls of any kind, so for me it's really no different.

You may consider yourself to be the hardest working director in Porn but that is totally subjective.
You think Other directors don't work hard. Let me tell you I have had to work extra hard at what I do.
You may work hard but don't believe you have an "exclusive" on putting in work.
You ask any one who knows me and have worked for and they will tell you how "hard" I work.
ANd one more thing You don't have to be so condescending toward me. I gave you props for caring about how our product looks. Don't make this into a big Ego fest.
