Does Alex Coal still put out GG content regularly? Feel like I haven't seen much of her lately, and she seems to only post political rants on her social media.
After reading this caught up with James Avalon directed g/g scenes as liked Darkside film made a while back. The girlsway/adult time scenes are very good especially with more experienced actresses 2021-2023. The sweetheart films few years earlier are a different style more leave to the imagination style of filming with some close ups.
The Ilovegirls by Adam & Eve is similar to the later sweetheart scenes in style. The Chasey Unchained and one of the later Babes Illustrated films is the high gloss style of the early 2000s in the Vivid/Wicked vibe.
To be fair some of the reviews have been handy in seeing content missed from 2-3 years back. The reality is g/g content now generally is poor. This year I can say 6-7 scenes worth a watch. Going back 8 years or so it would be at least 30 scenes a year to show how the quality has gone down.
The industry falls into many traps when filming g/g scenes. The first is a 40 minute scene with 20 minute set up I just don't get it. Second matching experienced actresses with newcomers rarely works just the odd diamond scene. Majority of the scenes feel sanitised partly due to high definition, filming techniques and locations feel a lot less edgier compared to late 90s content which also had natural flow not having to remember scenarios and lines to fit scenarios.
I also think porn has struggled technological wise. The 480p/DVD era content feels like the peak. When 720p came it looked better but the trade off it made it feel different gonzo imo especially struggled after as it changed the aesthetic. Same for 1080p. The 4k content it seems the industry are more interested in the set look and filming styles than the content which is due to the detail of the resolution.
When it comes to filming a scene there are too many variables now to make a excellent scene. A good director, good actresses, the set (due to technological advance), the set up and scenario and finally chemistry between the actresses. If one of these fails it makes a good scene to a one watch scene at best.
Every so often I check back here to see if there is any new, good GG content I've missed, but last few times I've been very disappointed. The reviewers keep getting banned and it seems no one else wants to do it, so it may be time for us to move on.
The people who get suspended and banned keep violating the rules, which is their choice. If you are unhappy, you probably should move on, but this isn't an airport, no need to announce your departure. And certainly no need to piss on the thread. There are people who enjoy the thread and don't want you missing on it about leaving.

So I have finally watched one of She seduced me recent scenes, also one of the most waited, A decent proposal, starring three of the top GG performers as are Kenna James, Serene Siren and Alina Lopez. The sex is great of course and both three women are amazing as usual, but someone decided to screw everything up by editing the video slowing the frames!!! Seriously, the scene starts in its own motion, with any problem, but it just starts the sex and everything is slowed in a way that ruins it. It's like it was made in purpose. I can't believe someone watched this and thought it was good enough to be released. My only hope is that people in the website downvotes the video and leaves enough messages criticizing the work so they could correct it because if not, they literally have ruined what could have be an excellent scene.

^^^Isn't that pretty much the ONLY mainstream scene Alex has done this year? I agree, in term of favourites that scene certainly sticks out. Another of my favorite scenes from this year is New addition, a scene from Allherluv featuring Melody Marks and Kell Fire, released in May 21th. The scene is really good due to both performers and the intensity of the moment betwenn. ^Yesterday was released the scene between Reagan Foxx and Freya Parker for Sweetheart Video and it was great. I talked about it in the thread about the website if you want to check out. And yeah, I hope next year is more fond on GG scenes. Even with some gems, it's been a dry year in comparison with others.

If there was a way to crowdfund scenes and provide optional creative feedback to SLAYED I would definitely contribute. On an analogous note, if there was a way to further support lezbebad -- not just adulttime -- I would be definitely up for it.
I apologize for the unasked despair/furstration in the post, but it really seems that the kind of scenes I enjoy are eclipsing and there's no way to provide feedback to big studios (or if they do see the twitter/email/comment feedback they choose to ignore it). I am fairly young, so I didn't have the opportunity to support studios when they were releasing rougher lesbian scenes in the past.
