After watching the scene, I felt exactly the same as you-it was a disappointment. I'm not sure where GG scenes are headed in the future, but if this is the direction, I don't think this particular scene will do much to promote the GG genre.

When I visited the site, LustCinema was like $8 and it's Lilly Bell, who is willing to make sexy stuff when directed to. Plus, a feminine woman director claiming a degree of homosexuality? I really do have to make the one-time purchase. Lust Cinema can be too cringe artsy that it gets in the way of the actual naked women interacting often, but this Linnae person seems to be of-the-people, so I will give her a shot.

And this is kinda ncidental and kind of not because her presentation is political...she may be the hottest porn director of all time.

That said, the site still needs a lot of improvement, especially when it comes to relying too heavily on sexual storylines. For example, even their latest scene, Dreaming-which you'll probably be able to read my review of in 2-3 days-contained nearly 15 minutes of storyline. Can you imagine?So much potential in the scene was lost because of this more focus on storylines
Anyways I liked "Boudoir" Isa Bella and Summer Kline scene but didn't like too much of Pray with Mommy featuring Alison Rey and Hazel Heart. Hazel Heart has a lot of potential but again was crying like a baby in this scene when Alison Rey was rubbing her pussy in the bathtub with a wet cloth, scene just focussed too heavy on sensual storyline😏

Action and interaction-wise it did still feel like two actors doing a bad episode of TV lol. There was a liiiiitle bit of communication between the characters and some sounds that gave a slight bit more realism compared to average porn, but it doesn't cross beyond looking like two actors acting.

One big negative I can give is they can stop the "made by all queer women" type of language in promoting this. Lilly Bell is straight lol

Still waiting on an actual porn that can match the physical acting in The Hunting Wives.

I don't know what you all expect from GG scenes these days, but even if I were reviewing scenes from the Dan Connell or Nica Noelle era, not every scene from that period was perfect either. We're not the ones writing the scripts or shooting these movies. I'm simply reviewing what is actually presented on screen, and sometimes I write in a marketing-style format simply to make the review more engaging for readers.

Conclusion: I can't give a positive review to a Lily Bell and Lana Smalls scene if I genuinely don't enjoy it. I'll probably criticize it more than praise it because, in my opinion, the scene focuses more on the storyline than on what the genre is ultimately expected to deliver. That genre, at its core, is sex-focused.

I've had access to Girlfriends Films for a time while I sourced some acclaimed films 2009-18. (There's a moderately long explanation for that.) I might have kept access, yet didn't find the same quality for their contemporary releases. It was obvious to everybody that at least one of the participants didn't like to munch. Not all "Women Seeking Women", "Mother/Daughter Exchange Club", or "Twisted Passions" are created equal.

After that, I subscribed to Viv Thomas to do the same sort of thing. Being a fan since somehow finding "Pink Velvet" series. The DVDs I had of his were stolen when my house was burgled. Did they not know how difficult it was to have sent to this country?! The authorities were very dismissive: "it's just porn. It's all on the internet these days."

Next, I joined Addicted2Girls short term. You may have guessed that I was after some quality work of Mike Quasar. I was never going to stay since there wasn't much content.

A present I have access to Girlsway/Adult Time which has plenty of content for all sorts of tastes. What might be obvious is that I prefer story-based or a theme. Although I still liked straight sex, Lesbea (at the time similar to VT having been setup by former crew members)
I re-joined Viv Thomas, my appreciation of earlier works a big influence in that, being a fan after all. Shortly after I joined Straplez (your point about favourites leaving is pertinent here because I see in AdultDVDtalk forum fans were concerned Mia had retired; though I see that 'Jo' has returned and is performing again for VT).
I'm wonder about joining Sex Art. The romantic style is similar to earlier VT scenes. The decision ultimately comes down to being satisfied that about 1 out of every 4 scenes is lesbian. I, like you, prefer quality even at the cost of quantity.
After all these years people no longer performing is inevitable, it's a fact of life. Though we all hope that at least one of the next will perform admirably, (reading previous pages of this section shows that people doubt that and perhaps already see a declining genre.)

I'll say it again-this was a very hot scene. If AllHerLuv implements the improvements I mentioned in my review in the future, along with better marketing, I genuinely believe the site could compete with Girlsway and attract many more subscribers.

That said, I also understand that they have to maintain the site and pay the talented performers they feature, who are some of the best in the industry. However, I still feel that $25 for one month is a bit too expensive. In my opinion, a monthly subscription priced around $18-$20 would be much more reasonable and could encourage more people to subscribe.

I'd also love to see them release trailers for upcoming scenes, similar to what Girlsway and many other sites do. I think that would generate more excitement and help promote their content even better.
