| LezTrib Member 26 Posts 8/26 | They have every opportunity to avoid becoming Girlsway Part 2. They can develop their own identity again-that's exactly what AllHerLuv is doing by establishing its own identity. I'm not saying GFF should become like AllHerLuv either, because I personally don't enjoy their scenes. You like Mike Quasar because of his passion for shooting GG scenes and focusing on extended foreplay, right? So why can't GFF provide something similar? Especially when their own back cover specifically mentions a certain amount of "realistic sex." If that's what they're promising, I think it's reasonable for audiences to expect that element to actually be a significant part of their productions now as well also. |
| Danielmayu33216 Member 417 Posts 5/25 | I wasn't trying to say that audiences simply bought something because it had "Women Seeking Women" or "Twisted Passions" in the title, or that Viv Thomas was successful because viewers were satisfied with seeing the same thing repeated forever. I agree that Viv Thomas clearly experimented with different concepts, presentation, and filmmaking, and that's actually a good example of what I'm talking about: the industry could take a familiar format and still find ways to make individual releases feel different. My point was more about the overall viewing experience and business model of that era. Even when the concept, setting, or storyline changed, there was usually a certain simplicity and accessibility to the production. You didn't necessarily need an elaborate plot or a completely revolutionary concept for a release to work. A different combination of performers, a different scenario, a different atmosphere, or simply a slightly different approach could be enough. The crux of the matter is that the basic premise of a series was usually already established. When Mother-Daughter Exchange Club was being released, we already knew the basic concept each volume would follow. The same applies to Net Skirts, Road Queen, Cheer Squad Sleepovers, and Twisted Passions-even if the individual stories, performers, and circumstances changed. With Twisted Passions, for example, you already knew the general type of scenario you were going to get from the series and its recurring formula, which was based around the Lamoyne Hotel. That doesn't mean every volume was identical; it means the audience already knew the basic framework before watching it. And I definitely don't think being part of a series automatically guaranteed success. There were probably plenty of volumes that people ignored despite having a familiar name. But the existence of extremely long-running series like WSW and others still shows that these formulas had considerable longevity. The interesting question for me is not, "Did people watch it only because it was WSW?" but rather, "How did a series survive for so many volumes while still giving audiences enough reason to come back?" So I wouldn't necessarily say the old era was "simple = good" and the modern era is "complicated = bad." It's more that the old market seemed to give filmmakers more room to develop their own identity, while the modern subscription market seems to create stronger pressure to produce content that fits established audience expectations and current trends. Maybe that's also why Mike's work stands out to me. If I'm enjoying his productions, it's not simply because they're part of a particular series or studio. It's because there is a recognizable style and an attempt to do something differently within the format-sometimes even through relatively simple scenes, but with good pairings, genuine chemistry, and excellent camera positioning. For me, those things can make a familiar concept feel much more memorable. So I still stand by my original conclusion: I think the DVD era was the peak not because everything was simple or repetitive, but because there was a better balance between familiar formulas and genuine experimentation. That's the balance I feel is increasingly difficult to find now. And that's also why I think people still mention directors like Dan and Nica Noelle and continue to watch classic GFF movies and sweetheartvideo movies. It's not merely nostalgia or the fact that those movies were part of a particular era. Some of them were genuinely excellent in terms of direction, chemistry, presentation, and overall execution, and therefore have much more rewatch value for me than something like Straight Girls or much of what Girlsway is offering today. The crux of the matter, for me, is that the Girlsway website gradually changed the industry, and this generation arguably seems to have embraced that style. That's the main reason I feel GFF has also lost a big part of its original essence. And, to be fair, AllHerLuv is also providing somewhat similar content now, along with SheSeducedMe.com |
| whakamaakuukuu Member 103 Posts 4/26 | I don't have enough knowledge of this to understand how difficult that might be to accomplish. Do we think it's easier to start something new, AllHerLuv-esque, and maybe alienate some fans of x-series that consume the #nth volume. |
| LezTrib Member 26 Posts 8/26 | Compared to what I'm getting now, everything just feels so unnatural that I genuinely want to build a time machine, go back to that era, kidnap the same performers and somehow drag Dan back into the director's chair too. Because apparently, "make it feel like a movie" was a revolutionary concept that we lost somewhere along the way. |

| whakamaakuukuu Member 103 Posts 4/26 | ^^ I know exactly what you mean, because it's the same with me for all of their x-series. And the last couple that were suggested somewhere here gave me no reason to reverse that course and venture further. It appears all gone from GFF to create such feature film-esque things, or even suggest a flow from one scene to the next. Is it too much of a problem getting a specific performer back. I need to refamiliarise myself with some films because sometimes it appears one or more performers are in a film throughout, even though not having sex, but at other times it could be just the suggestion. But then again there are more ways to suggest a connection or have it appear as an entirety. "Please Make Me Lesbian 13" (Girlfriends Films, 2017). Looking through my information: "MILF Stories" (Viv Thomas-MetArt, 2017) Performer3 is the only one used once. Performer1 used three times, is that what makes it the feature film? | Danielmayu33216 Member 417 Posts 5/25 | For me, the best period for enjoying lesbian porn was the DVD era. I still rewatch those videos now, and subjectively, I believe that time was the best. But I have to say, as GG scenes fan, I try to appreciate some scenes today as well. Anyway, these constructive debates can never end. I hope fans will subscribe Allherluv website to watch the Movie "The Help" it was a nice movie involving 4 performers with simplistic storytelling along with focus on sex scenes. If anyone wants to read my latest review featuring Octavia Red and Kell Fire, they can check out the following link: The Help Part 4 Review |
| LezTrib Member 26 Posts 8/26 | Also, in your review, you mentioned that this could be the final part of the movie, but you said it concluded with a kissing sequence. Don't you think there could be a Help Part 5 after that? I feel Part 5 might actually bring the whole story to an ending, with all the performers from the movie appearing, along with a sex scene pairing Sawyer Cassidy and Kell Fire or it might include a foursome scene |
| Danielmayu33216 Member 417 Posts 5/25 | But I don't know if I mentioned this earlier, and please don't laugh-I personally don't like threesome scenes. I just don't enjoy them. That's why I didn't mention about part 1. They're made to please a specific kind of audience, and I'm simply not part of that audience. I mainly enjoy one-on-one scenes. Even in BG porn, I don't watch gangbangs, foursomes, etc. For me, it's just a waste of passion, talent, and screen time. Regarding Help Part 5, maybe you are right. In my review, I said that Part 4 would probably be the final part of the movie because movies generally don't have five separate scenes/parts. So, I simply made an assumption that Part 4 was the ending. |

| LezTrib Member 26 Posts 8/26 | I like some performers and newcomers, but all have become very fake these days. You are right about Octavia she is exceptional when it comes to her performance in lesbian scenes. Additionally, her BG scenes have also been fantastic, especially her recent scene with Blacked. ^Holy shit, now where did Milana Ricci come from again? Is this industry becoming freelancing now? People are just showing up whenever they feel like it-no notice, no schedule, just "Surprise! I'm back!" |
| whakamaakuukuu Member 103 Posts 4/26 | Fakery... Edited by - whakamaakuukuu on 8/15/2026 12:24:54 AM |
| LezTrib Member 26 Posts 8/26 | Although Mike Quasar is not my favorite, he is definitely passionate about shooting GG scenes. Honestly, I like his Dad's Lesbian lover 4, that Hazel Moore and Alex Chain sex scene was just out of this world. I don't know how many have mentioned it, but if you look closely at that scene, after some time, Hazel Moore's face, mouth, and body become red, and her makeup is completely gone. That's what I call naturalness and passion-no cuts or interruptions just ensure a proper flow |
| Danielmayu33216 Member 417 Posts 5/25 | But I have not watched the scene again after that I will definitely revisit it again As far as new kind of storytelling concepts and new scenarios new ideas I also love them but not at the cost of lesbian sex. That's why I commented on allherluv don't just focussed on extended sensual kind of storytelling but also on sex part how to make it fun, erotic at times I don't know how many u have watched one fantastic movie and my favorite of all time

| LezTrib Member 26 Posts 8/26 | While I have watched Path to Forgiveness, I haven't watched Women Promise. But if studios and directors were able to make such good movies back then, what happened to the GG industry now? Some of the same directors and creative heads are still around, yet the quality of the movies and scenes has gone way too far downhill. Why is that? Could it be because of restrictions placed on the industry? Financial constraints can't be the only reason. And if the performers are partly responsible, then sorry, but there are still some very good performers in this industry. For me, the main reason is the loss of ambition, risk-taking, and the willingness to experiment with new plotlines and concepts-something that can actually make people enjoy the content. Instead, the industry seems to have become dominated by the same repetitive stepmommy/stepdaughter-type stuff, and honestly, that has taken over the GG industry now. |
| Danielmayu33216 Member 417 Posts 5/25 | I sometimes feel the same way you do about the past. However, when I watch scenes and movies currently, I forget what happened before and enjoy the present moment. These current-generation performers need as much fan support as possible because they have a strong desire to improve with every scene. While they do perform for money, they also have genuine passion and dedication to their work in the adult industry. For me, porn is not free. I also take financial risks to find quality scenes and movies. For example, I recently watched a scene featuring both my favorite performers, Octavia Red and Skylar Snow. Fortunately, I feel that the $25 I spent on that single scene on ManyVids was definitely worth it. I also wanted to purchase a scene featuring Eva Long and Kimmy Kim's oil massage, but it was costing me more than $30. I decided not to take the risk of spending so much money on just one scene. The same situation applies to production houses and directors. They have the ambition and ideas, but in this industry right now, they fear taking such risks because many factors are involved in making good movies. So, what they do is execute tried-and-tested ideas, particularly involving older women and younger women in a stepmother and stepdaughter type of relationship. Earlier, I mentioned how many fans watch lesbian porn-that's not the main question. The real question is how many fans watch porn by purchasing it. I am quite sure it is only about 15-20% of the audience because if everyone purchased movies and scenes, the piracy debate would never have arisen in this industry, along with this booming phase of OnlyFans, ManyVids, and creator-owned websites. |
| Girl Crazy Member Show me sex, not poses. 169 Posts 11/25 | A porn video with some actual raunch and rawness. I need a site willing to produce physical content like this at 2-3 videos per month with good cameras. |
| LadySafica Member 8 Posts 8/26 | Friend, I'm new here; I'm from Brazil and using a translator, okay? As practically a devotee of lesbian content-a die-hard consumer of any media involving the theme-and having had 90% of my relationships with bi girls, I feel entitled to join the discussion. From what I've read in some threads, there's a mistaken belief that actresses only play gay for the money, but we can't generalize. There are plenty of examples of women who genuinely enjoy women, regardless of their marital status or standing in the industry. And obviously, after decades, finding new ways to attract audiences to the genre becomes a challenge. What complicates this process is that, unfortunately, production companies need to please their target audience-which, in this case, is men. And the majority of that audience isn't interested in a long, deep story; they don't want to spend 40 or 50 minutes watching a plot build up before the sex finally happens. The vast majority wants camera angles that offer a clear view of the action and moaning that starts the moment a hand touches an arm. I LOVE the "mature-young" genre. Can it be a teacher and student, or a stepmother and stepdaughter? Of course it can! The key is to let the story develop, to build anticipation for the sexual encounter following the seduction, the obstacles, and the questioning. The key is to cast actresses who are actually interested in or curious about pussy, rather than just clocking in to get the job done |

| LadySafica Member 8 Posts 8/26 | Personally, I don't view the stepmother-stepdaughter dynamic as "incest." Unlike the mother-daughter or sister scenarios—which, for me, cross the line a bit. To me, the point isn't just avoiding certain "clichés," but rather having a bit more depth when portraying any kind of relationship or encounter between women. I’m a guy, but I don’t want to see two contortionists on a kitchen table—legs spread crudely so the camera can catch the partner’s profile with the tip of her tongue in action—or shallow dialogue like: "I’ve never been with another girl." ...only for her to be using a strap-on on her more experienced partner two minutes later. Look, some clichés can certainly be used, but they require a more thoughtful approach. And yes, I know it’s an industry focused on satisfying an audience that couldn't care less about the actual pleasure of the women involved, but we have proof that it *is* possible to try and do better |

| Danielmayu33216 Member 417 Posts 5/25 | First, I never used the word "only" while commenting money with it, and I also mentioned simultaneously the passion to perform, so I believe both should be considered. Who is shooting porn for free and showing their naked bodies on camera? I am generally curious. Money is a major contributing factor, and this is not a disrespectful comment towards any performer; it's simply a reality. Therefore, I have not generalized. Secondly, there is significantly less revenue generated in lesbian porn compared to BG porn. This is because the market for BG porn is considerably larger and more prominent. Performers are passionate about shooting GG scenes and other content. Their attraction toward other women is often evident. However, to be more specific, the physical toll and recovery time after a GG scene are generally much less than after BG scenes in this industry, although this can vary from woman to woman. I believe what you said about watching 40-50 minutes of buildup before the sex scene. To be very honest, in previous years, the buildup happened in movies produced by GFF. Overall, if not 40-50 minutes, then at least a significant amount of time was dedicated to it. Allherluv website also provides strong buildup to scenes before sex, but to be honest, I don't want the storyline to focus solely on sexual content for an extended period. What I am paying for is to see naked bodies having sex, not just sexual dialogues. Secondly, if production houses and directors in today's age of streaming content think too much about the factors you mentioned before shooting scenes and movies, I am sorry, but then they will not be able to ensure productivity. Consequently, the entire cost-benefit analysis will deteriorate. The passion for shooting adult films is strong, but at the end of the day, the commercial analytical aspect cannot be neglected. The world is moving very fast, and you can't afford to slow down just to display rawness, passion, and emotions in shooting. In today's scenario when filming two performers in one day, one of them might say at the end, "I have to shoot my OnlyFans content; please let me finish quickly." That's why I have said many times that the industry is now divided into two parts. First Studio Porn Second content creator websites are often behind paywalls. Finally, I want to say that lesbian porn is a very subjective matter. It become addictive-the more you watch, the more you appreciate the content; the more you like the performers, the more you want to see them. The comments I made above primarily pertain to the lesbian content-driven industry. |

Sure, some have suggested audience tastes, but that can't be the only reason. The pressure of producing enough for streaming, though with several sites decreasing the volume of output that doesn't seem to be true. Attainment of talent (do you have a magic way of getting what you think is needed?), poor direction, the power of and pressure from US conservatives etc, etc... they've all been suggested reasons. I'm an optimist that it shouldn't take much to get there again, we have AllHerLuv as an example of doing something different to the repetitive banal close-relations trope stories with dubious pre-sex reasoning. | whakamaakuukuu Member 103 Posts 4/26 | I remember a small article in a large newspaper here years ago about the most common search on Pornhub: brother, sister, mother, that must go back a 13 years or more. They were moralistic about what that was teaching 'young boys' while the older generation would understand it as fakery. Stop it!? Slim to no chance, it seems sites are doubling down on the concept, much to my bewilderment. Edited by - whakamaakuukuu on 8/16/2026 1:43:16 AM |

| Danielmayu33216 Member 417 Posts 5/25 | In the coming years, you will witness two types of scenes. 1. In the movie "Parasites," as mentioned recently by whyalwaysbilly, there is a plot twist near the end of a sex scene where the stepmother becomes a vampire and sucks the stepdaughter's blood. 2. The stepdaughter will be sleeping and dreaming about her stepmom. Then, the stepmom will appear as a ghost, and we all know what will happen next. This scene will be produced by Girlfriendfilms under the title *Lesbian Ghost Diaries, Volume 15*. Then you will come to this forum and comment that today's scenes are still better than what you just mentioned above😂

| porn borg Member 156 Posts 7/16 | Your regular reminder that in 99.9999% of the scenes pertaining to this genre the participants themselves are not related....it's fiction, it's role-play, it's fantasy. Just like when you watch a film where someone shoots or knives another actor death.....spoiler alert that actor isn't actually killed. So we get some of you aren't into it (including the individual with a new username now who's not stopped banging on about it for as long as I've been on here) you're entitled to your opinion, different strokes and all that but save us the fucking Helen Lovejoy won't someone please think of the children prurience please. |

Later, spot how many Mike Quasar films you can spot. Also how many of them have been banned/hidden on the studio site. Count the Viv Thomas productions there are, it was LezLove which instigated his switch to more explicit shoots. Edited by - whakamaakuukuu on 8/16/2026 5:36:39 AM |

§ "Most Subscribed" features Peaches acting at doing a video blog. It has a fake loading symbol, circle of turning, radiating lines. º This was considered a strange choice. A lot of comments from VT fans about who Sasha was, how did she suddenly appear, and why on earth make a feature focused on her!? She was an unknown that has hardly any factors that would deserve top billing. Edited by - whakamaakuukuu on 8/16/2026 6:28:55 PM |

As I mentioned in a recent post, I'm new here and absolutely passionate about lesbian content. Especially since I've lived this experience for a large part of my personal life-though perhaps I didn't express myself clearly or objectively enough. I know the industry is driven by profit. I understand that nowadays, many actresses split their work across movies, streaming platforms, private sites, and so on. I know lesbian content pays less and that the majority audience (men) prefers straight sex-something I HATE. What has always bothered me-and still does-are the industry's bad habits. In some cases, they could just let things flow in a slightly more "natural and genuine" way. |

*It's Stuck* (2018). Syren de Mer-an experienced actress who has had some good lesbian scenes-delivers a disastrous scene with Jill Cassidy. She repeatedly glances furtively at someone off-camera, for some reason. This specific instance strips the scene of any authenticity or interest |

As I've likely mentioned in a previous post, certain cues reveal a lot: genuine arousal, interest, urgency, boredom, revulsion, or passion. Women give off plenty of signals-even in porn. And dialogue can be an interesting element, provided it steers clear of the industry's standard, robotic script: "Yeah, yeah" "Oh God" "I'm gonna cum" "Oh, mom" "Oh, baby" "Fuck me" I believe directors could let things flow spontaneously in many of these scenes. In some scenes, you can sense tremendous enthusiasm; obviously, good things are going to come out of that |
| whakamaakuukuu Member 103 Posts 4/26 | "Pass the Mom, Part 2" with Mercedes Carrera and Riley Reid-part of the release "Ex-Mom Movement" (Mommy's Girl, 2016)-uses excessive "mom", "mommy" (by Riley) which if you look at GG Taboo topic they don't like it. It doesn't enhance the taboo nature, actually detracts from an otherwise good scene. It's also seen as lazy, clumsy way of bringing up the taboo nature. Things need to be more subtle than that in most cases, even, as I said, for fans of the taboo (which isn't entirely about close-relationship hookups) Edited by - whakamaakuukuu on 8/17/2026 12:49:17 AM |
