Does anyone's copy of this DVD work?? My copy didn't work, and a friend of mine just bought a copy and his doesn't play, either. Is this another ABA screw-up?
I've had a few problems with other ABA discs, namely a few discs playing movies with no sound, and HARDGORE had an issue with its first pressing.
If it helps I bought mine through ADE. The only ABA discs I've had a problem with are 110 Volts of Torture, one of the chapters is not available with standard play or using the chapter menu and one of the discs in the Avon 80s release was messed up but I have a replacement disc for that one. I picked up Hardgore after the end was fixed.
Hmmm... I bought my SOMETIME SWEET SUSAN through Adult CD Movies, as that was the cheapest route. I may re-order from Adult DVD Empire. Thanks, it sounds like maybe a few discs got messed up in the pressing.
My copies of FARMER'S DAUGHTERS, FORCED ENTRY, and HOUSE OF DE SADE play with no sound. The latter two are in two different Avon boxes.

I just got Anna Ventura - Ultra 80s Glamour Slut by Alpha Blue. Not the greatest quality, but I am so glad to finally have some of these scenes on disc I won't complain at all!
Although I am a big fan of todays porn and actresses I still think Anna Ventura was the most beautiful woman to every appear in xxx. I have all her feature films, a few of her loops, two of her hardcore magazines and about a dozen of her other magazine appearances. What a stunner, even when she put on a little weight. Does anyone have any idea what happened to her. I hope she is well and happy. Wayne In Dallas
I think I remember hearing that she resurfaced a little while ago, within the last year I think. I don't remember what it was all about though. You might be able to find out by Googling.

do the Alpha Blues ID each of the scenes the stars appear in in their respective discs? I have the Rachel Ashley disc they've put out on my mind but would like to know if scenes are ID'ed. Also the disc put out with bbw Candy Kane.
My copy plays the sound fine for Babyface. You might want to try returning it for another copy. When the second set of Cult 70s Director discs came out Alex deRenzy volume 2 was pulled off the Alpha Blue Archives site almost immediately. When I e-mailed them about it they said it would be back. They might have been pulled for having no sound and maybe some bad ones got out.
They stopped identifying scenes on their compilation discs probably because it provided grounds for lawsuits from the companies/people who REALLY own the films. I've created lists for the discs I own and included print-outs as chapter listings in the amarays. If anyone is interested in a run-down of scenes for certain discs, I may be able to help out by posting them.
Because I haven't seen many full-length Rachel Ashley films or videos, I had to go by IAFD and sort of guess which scenes came from which movies. Here's what I came up with this collection:
