^Is it possible lewadams that one of the reason why you prefer lower resolution porn is that its the only kind you can find from porn made 20+ years ago and which I find is often superior to most of what is made today. It's also true that since I'm in my 50's then the kind of porn I first watched was not even close to high definition and it never bothered me. In fact the only three major complaints I have about old porn is the crappy lighting, the shortness of the sex scene and not enough view of the action. That last one I think has more to do with the kind of equipment available back then than a lack of imagination.

I have quite a few 720×576 (PAL) DVD's from Europe which have exceptional image clarity (and some bad ones too!) way sharper than the 16:9 so called "HD" DVD's, but the point is I like the vintage pre-widescreen era better I think, things seemed a little simpler back then than now, more natural and less refined than today, and I don't mind black bars on the sides of the image on a widescreen monitor.
