It's been confirmed by several of her friends including Candace Cage although I am not sure the circumstances surrounding her death.

I was fortunate to get to know her during the last few weeks of her life; She had an adorable personality, was a lot of fun and absolutely lovable. She was so cute with her Portuguese good looks. The contrasts of her pale skin, black hair, blue eyes and tattoos was shockingly beautiful. She had moved temporarily from Miami to Tallahassee to take a break from the porn scene. She'd been active in it since she turned 18, three years earlier, and was somewhat burned out. Of course, she had to make a living so she signed up with some "Entertainment" listings in the yellow pages. Though she had experimented with drugs in the past, she hadn't tried Oxycontin until one of her coworkers turned onto it. She wasn't familiar with the addictive power of opiates and went from dropping to snorting to shooting up quickly with the assistance of her boyfriend/pimp, a loser drug addict who wouldn't work and lived off her. She checked into rehab but the addiction took over her personality like Dr. Jeykl / Mr. Hyde, she completely changed her mind and decided to check out before the first day was over. Within 2 weeks she was dead from an overdose. Her facebook page under he real name is amazing. SO many have posted how much she meant to them and how much they miss her. She's left her Dad, brother and sister devastated. What a waste of a brilliant life.
