I found the movie very skippable, and I did in fact skip whole scenes (the g/g ones). As it turns out, the one scene I liked a lot is the one Mike didn't seem to "get."

The segment with Melissa Lauren and Katja Kassin is presented as a '70s home movie, with the picture quality issues that entails. It starts out silently with two couples at an innocent backyard barbecue, but suddenly Melissa is blowing Steven St. Croix and Randy Spears is going down on Katja. Eventually some moans and noises enter the soundtrack, but no music, so as to maintain the illusion. It is a short scene, but the guys do have time to swap wives, and Melissa gives up the booty on the picnic table. Damn, she's hot.

Anyway, I thought the "home movie" theme added a lot. Sometimes I'm tempted to check out those vintage porn loops, you know, the black-and-white ones from the '30s and up. Something about the idea of real amateur porn, from a bygone era where you don't expect it, seems cool to me. Of course, those films mostly look like shit, from what I've seen.

This is kind of a simulated version of that, and if you look at it that way, rather than comparing it to modern porn, it's a big improvement, quality-wise (because it's shot in a modern way, with closeups and different angles, etc.). Plus there's the meta-message of the home movie concept -- in theory, it isn't intended to be viewed by us. I don't know, I liked it. I'd watch a whole movie that looked like this.

The rest of the DVD is relatively forgettable, IMO. Looks nice, but not too much effort goes into the setups, and in two of the seven scenes they forgot to add a title card at the beginning. Sloppy. And it's a tad ironic that the three women I'm most interested in are the three non-Americans (Melissa, Katja, Katsumi).
