I went to the videoshops here in NYC yesterday and found not new Anabolic DVDs at all. Of course now they will say, it was because the damn holiday but the thing is EVERY OTHER M@#$ F@#$ PORN COMPANY "MADE" THEY USUAL NEW RELEASES LIKE ANY OTHER MONDAY (Devil's Films "Gangland #37", Red Light's Breakin"Em In #3 and others) without any M@#$% F@#$% problem. ....Stop Teasing people!!!
Yeah, I only posted about this because I notice everytime RLD has a release it makes the date without fail. Looks like they get my money this month again and I'll just "get around to" buying another anoblic title kinda like they decide to release stuff when they "get around to it". I'm not normally one to complain because i understand how difficult it can be to get stuff made and released on time, but NOBODY else has as much difficulty. It's becoming a joke.
I Only buy the GANG Bang Series now for my Collection..I now support only the companies that seem to care about their clients....when 34 cums out well I will buy it,,no big deal...and I dont get my panties in a bunch anymore waiting for their ReLeases..................Later Guys
Anabolic just changed the GBG #34 Tentative Street Date of 10/14 to the "TENTATIVE" Street Date of 10/28. ...I think those guys just want to piss people off. So I decided to forget/put that stupid DVD off my list and buy Red Light's Gangbang #2.

And the worst part is that the shooting for GBG 34 was probably done in August to October 2001 or earlier. The advertisement for GBG 34 was in the winter CES in January. They have 1 year to get things done right and still they screw up. Anabolic has pissed off a lot of fans and deservedly so. This is gross incompetence and there are just no acceptable excuses. After all, Shyla has had a boob job and now only does girls; Shelby has retired. It is not like Anabolic/Diabolic no longer has competition. We have Jules Jordan with much better editing. We also have Red Light District who cares a lot for their fans and do not treat fans with contempt. We also have Slain who is doing an excellent job with his new titles. Skeeter seems to be doing a good job at the revived Metro. A/D seems to be going the Metro/Zane way where they want to maximize their site and the compilations, but at the expense of long term growth.
If the company treats the fans with contempt, then the fans can react by not buying A/D products.
They are no longer the only players but are becoming irrelevant. I will not write any positive reviews for any of their videos from now on -- probably will no longer write reviews for them. I will spend my time reviewing RLD's (GB2 and STHW are on my list) and Sub-vision's YWMOBS and Teenie Boppers. At least these companies care for their fans.
Well let's not get carried away here guys. I hate the delay as much as anyone, but Anabolic does crank out some nasty fuckin porn, when they set their minds to it. I think their problem might be a simple matter of producing too many different titles. I wish Anabolic would scale back, and just concentrate on their more popular brands. As an example, Nasty Nymphos and World Sex Tour could be merged into one series, and Initiations and GB Auditions seem to have a lot of overlap, since both titles involve "newer girls". I just think those guys are getting buried in their own product.

I respectfully disagree. Other companies can also produce just as many titles and not get bogged down. What Anabolic needs to do is to fire the 2 bosses, get a few top-quality production managers who can get things done on time, establish clear processes, establish datelines that will be met regardless (even if it costs a lot extra), change the stupid policy of shooting years in advance, and come up with a sensible way of deciding release dates. It can be done but heads should roll. Anabolic should also focus less on the pay site, which seems to be weird.
Remember that the shooting for GBG 34 was done more than 1 year ago. If Anabolic cannot get the title to the market after 1 year, then the critism is valid. It is not like the shooting was done a few weeks ago and the studio tries very hard to get it out to the market. Anabolic basically sat on the tapes for 1 year and then decided it is time to release the title and then cannot make the deadline. As such any excuse is in my opinion not acceptable.

They need to get more editors, production staff, and better establised process. They need to be held accountable. If the production person cannot get it done in a reasonable time without mistakes then, it is bye bye.I seriously doubt it. They are not doing a dual side dvd9 with a whole hosts of extras. Anabolic's DVDs are generally very basic with very little extras.
A/D have behind on the curve in the last several months. I don't wish badly on them, but I certainly want them to consider the fan's viewpoint and shape up with much better editing, camerawork, and a reasonable schedule -- no more than 6 months from shooting in dual format. Anything else is unacceptable as newer players with minimal/less resources can make the grade. I suspect that it is more of a policy of maximizing profit in the short run (by reducing production costs and getting more sales by not making dual releases) but such profit maximization tends to result in loss of reputation and lower profits in the long run.
