Evryone seems to think that losing these "directors" is such a loss, a loss that might just destroy the company. The loss was'nt the directors but the loss was a camera man, the reason I say this is most of the directors can be replaced by almost anyone with any common sense, doable people skills and a

sorry I got cut off. Iam not trying to tarsh anybody but Anabolic gives it's directors better than average budgets and with the right choices they could end up better than ever. It is going to be hard to fill that many shoes, but Anabolic is smart enough to shoot ahead and does have enough time to do it . These directors were not a one man force.

It dosent take alot of people but the thing it seems everyone forgets is the editor and the camera man. Take a look at at some your Anabolic tapes notice how many times that editors name shows up, how many times does that camera mans name show up.

Anabolic/Diabolic also lost 2 of the top onscreen male talents in the entire industry in Everhard and Lex. I know this industry is mostly about the women but the top guys in the industry certainly can carry a movie themselves. There is a reason that Lex and Everhard had a following for their onscreen as well as offscreen work and that will be much harder to replace than by simply plugging in another Tom, Dick or Harry.

Mike John was not only a director but he was a cameraman for most of A/D and he does a better job than Chris in my opinion.

V town still has that new car smell, welcome to
the "snake pit", . One man force? Debatable. Five
man force, undeniable. Presonally I'd never underestimate a force of one. Remember
the "drunken master", Jackie Chan.

I'm sure you guys can replace Erik Everhard, Jon Dough and Lex Steele very easy but Mike John is another story because he was a great director. As for Jean Yves Lecastel; no one can ever replace Jean Yves, he's one of the best director out there and the best male performer of all time.

I wish Evil Angel would sign Jean Yves Lecastel.

I have to agree with Blackshade on this one. Losing Erik and Lex as performers will hurt them more than their directing skills. What's an Up Your Ass series without Lex. Just look at #1-#10 of that series, wasn't all that good before Lex started putting the girls through the paces. They better call up Mandingo or Brian Pumper and quick, otherwise that series will just be another ho-hum IR series that nobody cares to see.

Actually, when Sean Michaels stopped doing it, I thought it was over for that series, but Anabolic had the foresight to bring in Lex as a director, and things worked out great.

In another thread, I also cited the Christoph Clark to Jean-Yves switch and the Vince Voyeur to (Jon Dough/Erik Everhard?) switch. Sorry, never watched Vince's stuff, so I can't remember exactly which series' he did.
Like I said in the other thread, maybe things won't be perfect for Anabolic for awhile, but I still consider them to be a major rival again in the future.

Actually Trish, I think Mike john directed Up Your Ass #12-20, but without Lex layin' pipe it could get stale.
Unless of course they started using Brian Pumper and Mandingo.

I actually like Marc Davis. I think he is a professional. I would actually like to see the studios use him more.
