Hi. Me again. I think I am going to purchase an Andrew Blake film. I want perfect women, natural in lingerie, high heels, foot licking / toe sucking - maximum sexiness! The look of the women, especially their legs and feet is of major importance more than it being majorly hard core.
I'm thinking Pin Ups, or Girl Friends, but also think Hard Edge looks good (is this his hardest, sexually?). You pretty much describe Blake's work to a T. It's 100% form over function, porn-wise; erotic but not that explicit. Keep in mind that Blake works in vignettes, and short ones at that: 2-3 minutes per scene is not uncommon, and scenes approaching 10 minutes long are very, very rare.
Hard Edge is his most explicit of his *recent* work (say, in the past 8-10 years). His earliest films (Night Trips, Hidden Obsessions, Secrets, House of Dreams, etc.) were pretty much boy-girl films with a good amount of hardcore. After that, he's been heavy on the glamour fetish and lipstick girl-girl.
I personally recommend Pin-Ups 2 or Hard Edge, but nearly all of his movies are pretty similar. Extras are pretty much non-existent before around 2001-2002; he puts all of his money into his films, and tended to want to devote the DVD bitrate to the feature, not extras.
Be sure to read the reviews for insight into specific fetishes, girls, and locations in particular titles (easy way: search on Studio A, Blake's own studio).
Girlfriends has no b/g as far as I remember. Hard Edge I liked because of the long bts. Pin ups I'm not objective because I would buy that DVD for Katja Kean alone. Pin ups 2, Wet, Naked Diva and Aroused are also good - hell, I'm probably not objective on Andrew Blake in general! But wait, I didn't like so much that "painting movie" - which one was that? One of the latest...

i havent seen many of his movies, but did a few scenes for him, lot of leg work and lots and lots of real kissing, quite fetishy with dog collar, and lots of fishnet.
EG - You might want to have a look at EroDVD ( under Andrew Blake ) , they have some Blake titles for 12.95 Euros each ( inc. delivery ) . If you decide to buy from them it's worth asking first if they have a title in store as it can take them a long time to restock .
From my own limited experience with Andrew Blake I'd recommend Girlfriends , with the lovely Aria Giovanni . Mmmm , she's gorgeous . Think I'll go dig out that disc now as a matter of fact .
