My wife and I used to enjoy the Andrew Blake films, primarily because she loved the locales, outfits and the professional way it was filmed but in the last few years they've gone too far to the fetish side and men have all but disappeared from the scenes. She's not into gonzo style flicks at all so can anyone recommend some new or recent movies that have the polished look which made Blake famous? Much appreciated.
Maybe Suze Randall, although I think it may be somewhat of a stretch these days. Suze probably shoots a lot more hardcore than Blake does. Joone might be similar, but I haven't personally seem much from him. Edited by - aplus on 7/15/2010 4:57:26 PM

Lorraine Sisco (The Tall Goddess) shoots some similar films for Ninn Worx. She claims that Blake is her inspiration. But let's face it, there's only one Andrew Blake. Celeste from Digital Playground is another one to check out. Neither has done anything remotely as good/hot as Blake's Night Trips IMHO... so adjust your expectations accordingly.
Thanks for the suggestions. Ninn Worx comes close but it's certainly much more hard core than Blake. I'll check out the others but if anyone else has suggestions, please do :)
I've been on the same search for a while, so I'll share what I've found. The following is a list of titles with high production values which I've picked up over the last little while, after first getting into the Andrew Blake thing. The missus and I both love these. There's a guy named Marty Zion that made some really good movies for a company called Nectar. I liked his movies because they were really artsy looking, but also had good sex (a rare combination!). His movies didn't have any plot or acting. They were vignettes with a similar artistic theme like the Mystified movies were all set in a forest, Space 2077 was futuristic, Metropolis was all skyscrapers and lights, Liquid was all water, Shades of Red was...red. Very good stuff. He's a very underrated director in my opinion.
If you haven't already seen it...be sure to check out Philip Mond's porn classic "Zazel".
