lol I've had a strong disliking for Tyra Banks for some time now...even before I watched her ambush and belittle Sasha Grey and my agent, I always thought she was an annoying, egotistical cunt. She just loves to bring us hard working, sexy business ladies on her show to try to make us feel bad about ourselves because we are profiting off of our looks and talents...honestly, it's not very different from what she's done. She is the voice of every jealous bitch in America who doesn't understand porn, or why any woman would want to pursue porn as a career. She needs to realize that (if done correctly) being in the adult entertainment industry isn't completely negative and that it doesn't make you a bad person. Her show is what helps breed these common misconceptions about porn in general, and it really infuriates me. I caught a few minutes of an episode recently where she had a beautiful stripper and her husband on the show...they run a pretty successful feature dancing business, and also have 3 kids. They seemed like wonderful, educated people and answered every question diligently while all Tyra could do was make a cringing face of disgust at every SENSICAL statement. Tyra likes to act like she didn't coast through her pampered life by being a SEX OBJECT ...does she even realize how many guys have beat off to her Sports Illustrated swimsuit magazines?! She's just as much of a cumrag as any of us "sex workers" are, in my opinion.
I agree. She came off like a total bitch in the Sasha Grey episode. I also noticed that for her to find he sex industry so "bad" and "degrading", she sure seems to make that the focus of her show on more than a few occasions. Unfortunately, I'm not very close with my family. They are really wonderful people but I felt kind of pushed away growing up due to having so many younger siblings (I'm the oldest of 4) and because of my evangelical upbringing. I haven't lived in same town as them for 4 years and in the same state for almost 2. We don't get to talk a whole lot because they are still pretty busy, but when we do talk they are very sweet and respectful of me. My mom was really upset at first, but not at all surprised. Since then, she has kind of giggled about it with me sometimes and hasn't been rude or nasty about it. I know she still loves me.
