As much as I like this lady, it'd be nice to see her pay her dues to the women she borrowed from and that would be: Jenna Jameson, and Mason 1. Jenna Jameson started the "Jenna Loves" series almost 20 years ago. Yes many producers have borrowed same titles from other producers for decades but you should at least pay tribute to who you got it from. That idea isn't original in the least. 2. There is one big difference.. Jenna Jameson created dreams for men. Angela shows all the woman in the world how to live those dreams. With all respect, the Jenna Jameson generation did a lot of things just to earn as much money as possible. Angela shows that you can earn lots of money with doing things she really loves. She doesn't get the credits she deserves by just saying she is copying the role models of 20 years ago. She created a whole new dimension in this industry.

Not to burst your bubble, but "Ah no!" Jenna was more a over hype situation than anything else. Did Jenna do anal? I/R, DP, DA, DV, gangbangs etc etc? "Ah no!" is the answer. On that matter, did Mason pay homage to anyone that came before her? In fact, I have taken far more business cues from Danni Ashe throughout my career. Danni was the ultimate empowered female entrepreneur and a pioneer of online pornography in the 90s. It's well-known that I've also taken a lot of inspiration from Annie Sprinkle. I think that Annie's sexual performance art is iconic and her activism is powerful and important. Her books and essays, especially "Post-Porn Modernist," changed the way I thought about sex, gender and my voluptuous body. It's probably not lost on anyone that Danni and Annie also happen to have body types that are similar to my own, which helped me to see that there was a place for me in porn. When it comes to Mason, I believe she creates fantastic tease sequences and her camera work during sex is some of the best in gonzo. I love her aesthetics, her location choices and a lot of her wardrobe selection. I especially loved her "Asa Akira is Insatiable" series for Elegant Angel. I didn't know the degree to which Annie Sprinkle inspired you. Though now that you mention it, I see the similarity. I've always admired Annie. I saw two of her performance art pieces. At first, I was amazed at the audacity of her "Public Cervix Announcement", but when I got to the front of the line, I was even more amazed to learn what a cervix looks like. In an article, I think it was on AVN she herself said that she lives in the world of porn and hadn't even unpacked her TV set yet in her house or apartment.
It's a shame she seems to have abandoned her website, she doesn't even link to it on her twitter anymore, just to her page on adultdvdempire for the dvd's. If you've never joined her website i'd highly recommend it though.
