Friday the 13th in 2 days. I have mixed feelings about this one. I love horror movies a lot too, but this one is questionable. All these remakes seem to give these killers/monsters souls and make them feel pain, etc.. instead of making them the souless, emotionless, killing machines they used to be in the old movies. Example - in the trailer for the new Friday the 13th they show Jason running. The first thing I thought was..."I knew it. I knew he ran. There is no way a person/victim can run for like 2 miles, hop on a dirt bike and drive for like another 3 miles, look behind themself and then turn back around only to have Jason standing in front of them.". Then I realized it was a remake and that explained it. He also sharpens his machete in this one... WTF? Since when? In any case I'll go and see it anyways. It still looks good.

I think if he's running people will still go see the movie. This movie is a LEGEND. Everyone has the craziest adrenaline rush from all these years. I really doubt that there going to care much. Plus if he's running it explains why he gets to his victims faster lol. Its still a great movie. Every sequel changes from time to time. And just maybe Jason has always sharpened his machete but they've never shown it before...until now. Not every movie can be the same. People know what to expect all the time. You may just like it...never know until you see it :)

Not a bad ranking there Angelina, Pt.2 with the wheelchair guy rolling down the stairs with the axe/hatchet bured in his head, won't soon forget that. I remember Pt. 7 and everyone in the theatre cheering with the twisted doctor got the buzz from Jason! Pt. 4 was pretty good too as I recall, twins. It's been a hit and miss series much like the Halloween one but still well worth a good fright or two each time.

LOL well since I met Jason (Derek Mears) in person, it was kind of hard to take the movie so seriously because he's the sweetest person i've ever met LOL. It was a good movie, but not a great movie. The characters had no true meaning to them. I felt as if they were just numbers dying off one by one. No one really stood out to me.
