A brothel has higher overhead -- the girl has to pay the owner for the room she works out of.

All you need to be a successful escort these days is a cellphone and a computer iwh an Internet connection -- there are plenty of places where it costs a girl nothing to announce your availability, and once she's a known commodity, reviews help keep her in business.

There's also the fact that working as an independent escort gives a girl the opportunity to pick and choose whom she sees. If she's a netscort, she can check out a prospective client beforehand by asking for referrals from other escorts. If she's working bars, she hets to check them out personally.

In a brothel she still gets to say no to a customer.
In a casino bar, she has to deal with house detectives/security. They can shake her down or take payoffs - overhead. She still might come out ahead, but she risks jail time.

Points taken. However, I believe that, on balance, a girl choosing not to work the brothels does so for the same reason a girl anywhere else chooses to be an independent and not work for an agency: greater freedom and more money. Some girls do prefer to work agencies because they don't want the hassle of screening customers, or because they're not organized enough to handle it. But a lot of them quit the agencies and go indie once they figure out which pasture they think is greener.

Let's not forget, Anna Belle is probably the prettiest most spectacularly attractive woman that any man she's dealing with has ever spoken to! And, in a town full of hot, attractive women, that's saying something.
Men don't think well around women this hot.
