Now he may have been gentle with this girl if that's what the scene called for, but he has no problems brutalizing and roughing up girls. I've seen it a lot from him. He probably gets away with more BECAUSE of what he looks like. I ain't callin' him out for being a jerk because they are "acting", there is a director, and the girls know what time it is, but no black male porn actors working currently could have the rough M.O. of Deen, (and a few others), with the girls, and stay employed. If this girl did say that, she may have just been singing a song or yanking our chains. Or maybe playing to a stereotype. But none of the brothas that I see in porn are unusually hard on the girls. What James Deen does is what Manuel Ferrara does is what Rocco Siffredi does. Give pleasure to the girls. There is a reason why I have seen hundreds of girls tweet that they want to work with the guys I just named on Twitter. Because they are good performers. Point #1 - From my perspective, James Deen is A-C-T-I-N-G in his roles, and as such it IS a fact that he "has no problems brutalizing and roughing up girls" if that is the emphasis called for in the scene or vignette. This was not a critique of him or his real personality, just an observation of the action and persona he typically conveys on screen. I went to great lengths to emphasize "acting" when describing Deen. And more than usual roughness with the girls does not have to reach the level of Facial Abuse to be remarkable. I am not the first or only person to observe this in Deen's performances. Point #2 - The greater point, and what the discussion was about, was the young lady's remark that the black actors were "too rough". None of the major black porn actors who shoot for the major porn studios routinely interact with the girls physically in the manner of Deen or Rocco, to the point where it is a recognizable facet of their onscreen character and approach. None. And certainly not the three black actors that we've seen her with in the two IR web scenes. That's what made her remark so eye-opening for some. Prince, one of the brothas she worked with may be a little "energetic" at times, but he is certainly not overly rough or hard on the girls. And I've never heard of any of the girls in Pornland having problems with him. The ones that have commented on it seem to love working with him and consider him very kind and considerate. The other two, Jason and Jovan are both relative newbies who have never shown any proclivity towards roughness or over-aggressiveness with the girls. Actually, I've seen both of them be fairly timid onscreen. So unless there are scenes we don't know about or haven't been released yet, my question meter goes up with the "black guys are too rough" position. Now they may be too big, physically and in dick size, (which is almost a prerequisite for a brotha to even be in porn), and she may be translating that into "roughness", but beyond that her statement remains curious. Again, IF she said it, and IF that's what she truly meant. I like my porn sex rough. I don't like the girls in pain or being beaten, or having their heads shoved in toilets, but I do want them handled aggressively. Consequently, I appreciate Deen's work. This girl has worked with Deen. If she's implying, even indirectly, that the black guys that she's rubbed up against in professional porn, did things to her that Deen didn't, or won't, do, I find that hard to believe. Then again, this girl is at best 19 years old and hasn't been around the block much, so anything she says has to be heard with that in mind. BSD [Link] |
