Annette Haven

Desires Within Young Girls (1977) looks and sounds good even though it is a Caballero release. There are no special features worth mentioning.

Centerspread Girls (1982) is another Caballero release and it has the best picture quality out of all five (but it's also the most recent). Again no features worth mentioning.

V The Hot One (1977) does not have as good of a picture as the first two, but it is still good enough to recommend. Another film with no special features worth mentioning.

The other two I have that I do not recommend are:

Barbara Broadcast (1977) - Although it has about the same picture quality as V The Hot One , Barbara Broadcast has been edited from its original form and to me that makes it technically defective. "The picture is missing some shots." This DVD does have nice special features though, such as a commentary, but they don't make up for the lack of completeness.

8 to 4 (1981) - The picture and sound quality are shoddy. DVDs like this give the Caballero classics line the bad reputation they have. Also, I'm not positive on this one but I would bet that it's been edited . I've never seen the original but there are moments that seemed to have been deleted. If anyone knows whether this is true or not, please post!

Joey: If you like Annette, get them all. The few edits in Barbara Broadcast were mostly stuff that only fetish hounds would appreciate and the lady is worth seeing. Yum!

But here is mine. If you want to see Annette, and that is the chief reason you are looking for the DVD, there is no comparison, as far as I am concerned.

V - THE HOT ONE is the DVD to get.

i agree with Black Coffee in that i think V the Hot One and Desires Within Young Girls r simply fabulous titles... lots of Annette scenes... i only wish Caballero had included the time tracking feature, really frustrating when u wanna search for a particular scene on PowerDVD... geez..

8 to 4? not bad but if it's Annie u want, u r gonna be disappointed coz it's a blurry day dream sequence.... plus the video is kind of grainy and dated...

Centerspread Girls... it's in the mail...

think the nice thing about having both V and Desires is the fact that we get to enjoy Annie in all her glory; her acting is excellent as well, and we get to see her in a young girl role, all naive and slightly fleshy (with very ample breasts), in Desires, while in V, she's very feminine, elegant and toned... quite a refreshing contrast...

High School Memories is also available on DVD. I know the film is great but I've not seen the DVD so I can't comment on the transfer. It's from VCX.
