Having the drop down menus above the search boxes is really annoying. Since my mouse is usually at the top of the screen from having clicked on a menu option to arrive at the website, the natural thing to do is to move the mouse down to the search box. Unfortunately, that means mousing-over the drop-down menu, which blocks access to the box. &*#$(#!! They really need to be where they aren't obstructing something else when they're down. Also, I'd rather not have the previous search text show up, since odds are I don't want to search for the same thing. [Link] |

As far as the menu placement goes, I guess if one moves their mouse slowly, I can see your point. I don't usually trigger the rollover when I'm mousing from the top, so I haven't noticed that issue so much... We'll be making incremental design changes over the next several months, so perhaps we'll be correcting that in the future. [Link] |
