It looks like there are several technical problem at fivestardvd.com at the moment.
There are no box cover pictures on the product details pages anymore. It has been a problem for almost a week now. It makes it quite difficult to chose DVD's when you can't see the box covers.

Another problem is the "Wishlist". When I click the wishlist my browser display this page http://www.fivestardvd.com/nocookies.htm. But my browser already have cookies enabled. So the problem must be at Fivestar.

Are other ADT member experiencing the same problems?

I have contacted Fivestar but they don't ansver my mail, so I hope they read this posting, and give ADT members an answer.

I have no problem with the box covers, but the same problem with the wishlist. I have emailed them and hope they can fix it soon. I have many items in the wishlist which I don't want to loose ;-(

Ingenmann - what browser are you using to view Five Star's site? I'm not having any problems with Internet Explorer.

My wish list is now back. Nice.

But still no box cover pictures. Screen shots and everything else works fine, is as always.

I am using IE 4.72 browser, and it been working fine until a week ago or so. It seem like the Fivestar site has been "upgraded" with a new IE 4 incompatible box cover image loader .asp code.

My antique browser works fine at eg. jaded, adultdvdimpire, but I only shop at Fivestar. Arg!

OK. Fivestar made me upgrade my browser to IE 5.5. The Image loader works now. But it very slow.

I think the developer need do some code optimizing.

We apologize for any problems viewing our images. Recently we discovered that a pirate movie site was stealing a huge amount of bandwidth from us by linking directly to our box images. The result was that we received numerous complaints because our site performance slowed to a crawl. To protect our business and to maintain a speedy site our developers have implemented a new method to prevent others from linking directly to our images. The downside of the new image system is that it’s not compatible with IE 4.0 and older versions of Web TV. We’re still fine tuning this new system but if you’re having trouble viewing our images we recommend that you upgrade to a newer browser.

I am running IE 5.2.1 for Macintosh OS X (10.1.5) and after clicking through a few box covers to view zoomed backs or fronts, I get an error--Program could not run because of low system memory. It appears there is nothing wrong with my computer as I can down load pics from ALL other sites I go to, without any problem. Seems like there is still some tech problems with the 5 Star site.
