XXX Dracula films are nothing new, but rarely very good (except for Shaun Costello's DRACULA EXOTICA). So why, if Axel Braun intends to make a movie which "exploit the sexual components of Bram Stoker's powerful story, while keeping all the drama, the suspense and the thrills," as this article says did some brilliant Hustler employee decide to title the thing: This Ain't Dracula XXX 3D
Sell me on the content after you sell me on the title, and that title screams campy shit.

Shame. Weird also that the pic with the article just says Dracula. Why not just stick with that? Guess there is a fear of deviating from the norm.

One can only hope that they give him a little freedom and a budget to do things right. Axel can turn out a great feature, but what I've seen of his Hustler parodies seemed like they let him have about 40% of what he should have had.

The porn parody was a staple for decades and, ever since XPlay and LFP decided to pillage TV Land's programming schedule, these pinheads are acting like they just discovered this shit. At least back in the day producers had enough artistic ambition to come up with an amusing title [ Sperms of Endearment, Romancing the Bone, Saturday Night Beaver! ]. These lazy bastards just tack "Not The... XXX" on the title, and phone the rest in.
How do you sleep at night Mr Smut Peddler, huh?... How the fuck do you sleep?!!

I can't complain about the parodies I've seen from XPlay as Will Ryder has put plenty of effort into all aspects of their productions. There's definite care there and I have yet to see one of his movies seem slopped together. Sadly Axel Braun's parodies for LFP have not looked that way from what I've seen with This Ain't Charmed XXX and This Ain't Dirty Jobs.
I'll also add a complaint about parody titles from "back in the day" when frequently all you had was a funny title like that and a movie that didn't have anything to do with it...

Someone needs to send Larry Flynt a video presentation entitled "This Ain't That Good of a Marketing Concept."

I don't think it is necessary - Sucker Punch's sole purpose seemed to be as masturbatory material to begin with.

^That's even more of a reason for a porn version. That would make a parody inevitable.

If you read Gary Orona's thread on whether parodies should emulate or not he says that the people who make the movie don't always get to pick the title. I wouldn't trash it until it comes out and you see it. Axel Braun seems to put effort into his movies.

I'm not trashing the movie, I'm trashing the title which, if this is a good movie, will only work to undersell its quality.
