Linda Lovelace done this and Shelly Lubben is doing this right now. Will you give me money to save just one little girl from the evils of porn and prostitution. Traci Lords would have never got her book on the talk shows. Saying she loved porn. Traci Lords continues to make money off her porn career by using her famous porn name. It's hard for anyone to continue believing that everything was okay, when crowds of people around her insist that it was wrong and bad. Individuals tend to conform and change their views when everyone around them unanimously insists that they were wrong. Making porn was the only thing she knew how to do for a living. And it's not surprising that she chose to make some more porn, instead of going to work for MacDonalds for the minimum wage. But this doesn't mean that all the disapproval and scolding she got from adults around her had no effect on her. It did have a big effect on her.
