No truer statement. Alas, most consumers of porn think with thsir dicks, not their brains. Until that changes, you'll have (too) many producers/directors who are all dicks and no brains. The thing is....most people in porn are not writers. Further, a non-zero percentage of the people (particularly the men) in the industry are into malice first and foremost, and that's especially true of a significant portion of the porn-buying audience. Lack of creative talent + an audience that largely wants mindless drivel that is usually about some degree of rape = banal, mindnumblingly stupid, by-the-numbers, gross-but-deeply-unsexual content.

If you're looking for something lighter and more of a comedy with a good story line that gets beyond the porn cliches, you may wish to check out "The Wedding."
