UK porn is quite diverse these days. There are a number of standout producers shooting quality (high end material) If you are referring to the general style of UK porn that makes up the large part of the market then I think thats simply down to a lot of people in the business not really that good at making productions.

The ones who have moved up in the world have learned from the errors of their ways and improved greatly.

Don't forget there are states in the US bigger than the UK which might explain why things are the way they are especially there are more people coming into this business more than ever just shooting POV on their mobile phones so it will be interesting to see the cream of UK talent rising to the top in the next few years of which the UKAP Awards had its finger on the pulse during the time I ran it anyway.

I think Pascal's Sub Sluts is one of the best things happening in porn right now. It has the authenticity and rawness of amatuer but with the performances you'd get from a professional shoot. I like how they actually seem to use girls who are into it, and Pascal stopping sometimes actually shows he's getting turned on. As with Immortal Live, I really like the way PSS kinda drops the fourth wall and almost feels like backstage footage, and the fact there isn't lighting everywhere to make the girl unrealistically hot actually kind makes them hotter because they seem real. I hope more sites take that sort of direction. I can't remember the last time I got through much of an Evil Angel scene because they feel so fucking unnatural now.

You also have Harmony, who used to produce some of the best hardcore scenes around. Pretty much the only company who managed to do that whole weird arty style while still keeping things hot.

I assume Fake Taxi/Fake Agent is British? They shot some hot scenes, particularly with Proxy Paige, Jaye Rose and Paige Turnah but I'm not generally a fan of their redundant setups, shooting style and approach to sex in the scenes. But some individual performers are able to overcome all that and turn in hot scenes.
