There are getting to be so many that I can no longer buy them all (plus they all feature the same revolving cast of boys anyway). Anyone have favorites or recommendations? The one softcore film I thought was terrible is Sirocco, but then it is the only one I know of that is not Bel Ami boys. The best thing about all these movies is that they are available from the mainstream DVD e-tailers like buy.com, cdnow, and formerly reel.com, so I was able to get them with coupons really inexpensively. Hello Raytrade, I just ordered their boy series #2: Boys at Play (4 in total I guess). That is the best in term of my view.
It all depends how you like the cast. #2 has Lukas in there and transfer quality is better. #1 is Boy: Bohemian Boys is soft version of "Sauna Paradiso". It's OK. Thinking that Bel Ami is not going to release their videos in DVD any time sooner. This may be the best way to see those boys in DVD. I also liked "Summer the First Time" and "Sunshine After Rain". Some are still in pre-order status.
Have you seen those Scandinavian DVDs? The transfer is very good. If you like Bel Ami, "Loaded Gun" and "X-Large" should not be missed. Laser's Edge have them in $33.49 each, which is really worth it.
BTW, I saw you are from LA area. I am planning to move from Seattle to LA. I am really addicted to porn and rent movies every week. So I want to relocated to a place that can have esay access to those rental stores. Do you have any recommendation which area is best fit in my condition? West Hollywood may be good, but it may be too expensive to live though. Thanks for any tips you can give.

I love the Bel Ami boys, but I'm not particularly interested in softcore, so I've avoided all the Pride repackagings so far... Unfortunately, Ken's right that any real Bel Ami DVDs are still a long way off. ..
Can you tell us any more about those Scandinavian titles? I've never heard of the studio or any of the performers before. What are they like?
(And welcome both of you to the forum, by the way! I've been a pretty lame host lately--when things I are this quiet I sometimes let other preoccupations get the better of me...)
WeHo would be the prime spot for gay porn rentals, but there's probably a strong market throughout LA & Orange counties... Anyone?[Link] |

Thank you Alan. I would like to write some review about those Scandinavian DVDs, but English is not my native language, I better leave this job for someone else.
Any way, those boys are lean, very handsome, very young. The difference between Bel Ami and Sevp boys are their performance are natural, plot is simple. After watching so many Bel Ami movies, I started to feel too much choreography. I still love Bel Ami very much, but Sevp boys do bring something different and refreshing. How shall I describe it? if you browse a porn magazine, Euro Boy just give you a totally different feeling, that's how I feel about the Sevp boys.

I ordered two released DVD: Loaded Gun and X-Large. The DVD quality is excellent. Loaded Gun has some military theme, X-large is just boys having fun. One feature of these movies is that they always have 3 way sandwitch type of action which you never see Bel Ami boys do and they always flip flop, eveyone is versatile. That is my favorite.
I am not very much into American muscle culture. Skinny body have more appeal to me. I wish French Cadinot movies some day will come out in DVD. Their models are the sexiest.[Link] |

Mmmmm, Ken- sounds like we both like the twink look
As for somewhere to live other than Weho that would have access to lots of gay porn, I would suggest North Hollywood/Studio City, which is getting pretty darn gay nowadays but isn't grungy like Silverlake.

Thanks Ray. It's such a nice community and I feel very proud and warm to be part of it. I think studio city may be a good idea. I may try to find a job around that area. Is Weho in West Hollywood?
"Cuffed" is release by Atomic now. I like this movie is because Jeff White, a skiny and very sexy guy is in the movie and bottomed for another hunk. So far DVD Now has it on sale for $37.99. If you can come up with other movie you like, they have a coupon running until 6/30: 10 off $40. My God! I better control my appetite otherwise I will be too broke to move to LA.

Anyway, back on the topic...I agree, since Bel Ami is slow at releasing I dont mind some of the softcore titles...those boys are just too cute to pass up! But one I saw recently I enjoyed was this one.....they arent as cute as BelAmi but they are pretty close.....
