For starters, as Nikki Love she was rather petite. By the time she became Nikki Loren and did b/g, she was a bit thicker than before. Perhaps that turned some people and/or companies off. Also, she was pretty inconsistent as a performer. There are b/g scenes of her's where she is just crazy smoking hot and the sex is great (Sport Fucking 3, Camel Hoes). There are also b/g scenes of her's where she looks like she's just going through the motions (Wet Dreams Cum True 3, Camel Toe Perversions 2). Also, you listen to her talk in BTS and you get a definite Jessica Simpson-vibe. With the light bulb malfunctioning over her head, perhaps she was difficult to deal with on set at times-crossed lines of communication. (of course, that is just my inference-for all I know, the BTS temperment could have just been an act to make herself seem even sexier)

In spite of all that, I still look at her and fall back in lust, though I don't really know what she's up to now. She was dropped off of LADirect's site and then popped up at NaughtyModeling, listed only for g/g. Then for like a month or less she was listed for b/g. Then she was gone. Now, she is listed at REBSPGI, but considering that this site claims to represent Stephanie Swift and Felicia Fox I'm not sure how reliable a source they are. I'd guess she's gone from the biz. If so, I wish she had done more b/g scenes than she did. Even the crappy ones, like with Ben English, are on some level fun to watch.
