| Midnight Max Deactivated User And put an end to the Chicago-style Thuggery 678 Posts 3/08 |  Posted - Aug 19 2011 : 11:14PMI joined Reality Kings (with a full membership) about a week ago because of their 1080p HD content, yet have been unable to download any of their HD scenes- they tend to freeze or "kick off" at anywhere between 25% and 80% of the downloads. I've tried to download scenes using Internet Explorer (which the site recommends for some reason) and Firefox as browsers but have had the same problems. HD scenes from Brazzers take forever to download, but I rarely have any incomplete downloads. Haven't had any problems with BangBros.com either as far as that's concerned. I've sent emails to RK's technical support but haven't had any replies. Perusing the net, I've seen many of the same complaints in various forums concerning these download issues and lack of tech support from RK. Any of you guys have similar issues with this site? Any pointers, or some kind of software rec's? Thanks for any and all input. [Link] |

I've never used a download manager, so what is it they do, cache the file for you in some way? I ask because as these files kept getting bigger my solution to about any problem has been add RAM and it's worked. I used to have a helluva a time with Naughty America downloads, freeze on replay, downloads slowing to a crawl before completion, and complete freeze up and low memory warnings when you wanted to jump forward in the scene. Problems almost all went away when I stepped up to a system with 8G RAM, and completely away when I maxxed it out at 16G RAM. Oh yeah, I changed all my Virtual Memory settings to triple the default settings on paging size. | Bill All-Star Member 5334 Posts 6/00 | Posted - Oct 15 2011 : 10:50AM Download managers also allow you to dictate how many simultaneous downloads can run at a time and will queue up additional downloads to start as soon as the previous ones are finished. So, let's say that Brazzsers, Mofo's, Naughty America and Reality Kings all have updated scenes that you want to download without having babysit them. You can stack up all of the scenes that you want to download into the queue and go to bed. The download manager will download the scenes 1, 2, ...5 at at time (based on your settings) and when you get up in the morning, everything will be downloaded (providing that you Internet speed is fast enough to have downloaded all of the scenes that you selected in that amount of time). The other smaller files will download in under 10 min for me. I Googled up that they have done this before, a couple of years ago. I'm a yearly subscriber and probably download a dozen scenes a month and maybe have not bumped the limit. If the same file downloads fine tomorrow morning, pretty sure they have some stops in place.
