My only interest in watching porn is the product placements.
I watch porn for entertainment and to expand my fantasy base. I don't often use it as a masturbatory aid. I commit certain hot moments to memory, then build on them when I'm imagining my own fantasies.
Well, there's a reason why plotelss porn is so popular. Most people watch it to jerk. There is much better quality stuff made if you want plots and intrigue and all of that in the mainstream.

With such well written stories and oscar worthy acting, I'm always too engrossed in the film to even think about jacking off. Besides that, I feel that the sex scenes really add something to the overall quality of the piece and the actors and actresses wouldn't do them if they didn't add something to the scene. Kind of like when a main stream actress only does nudity if it's vital to the roll. I'm actually offended at the thought of anyone soiling the integrity of a porno by jacking off to it.
To people really masturbate while watching pornographic movies? Wouldn't that interfere with ones understanding of and appreciation for the intricate plot development and camerawork? Masturbation and pornography....I have to tell you folks that I am shocked... really shocked...that this has been going on. Round up the usual suspects.

It makes no sense that a person would even be able to masturbate while watching porn. In order to masturbate, you have be in the garage, at night, in the dark, pretending to be looking for lightbulbs, so that your wife doesn't suspect what's up. And, if the lights are out, then how the hell can you even see anything?
Maybe it's a chick thing. To me the visual and aural stimulus alone is not enough. I really need to be lost in my own memories and fantasies (with porn inspiration) to get off alone.
And invariably something happens in the scene that turns you off or you wish a certain position lasted longer or you wish someone had said this instead of that. So I just re-imagine the scene in my head usually hours, or days, or weeks after I originally watched it. So I suppose ultimately I do use it as a masturbatory aid even though I don't watch and masturbate at the same time.
I have never just watched tease footage and BTS. What's the point in that? I want to see fucking.
a) You've payed for it (I hope), b) it's relaxing, and c) one learn a few things about the people in the movie and how it's made... maybe that's a lousy point though...
+1. The only reason I watch porn not to get turned on is when I'm writing reviews. And if I'm not turned on by what I see, it's going to get a bad review.
For me porn is not art to be watched for beauty. If I want that, I've got a plenty of other stuff to watch instead.
When I first started watching them I could, but nowadays not really often. So in cases like that I can just watch, but I rarely chose films like that. If at all possible, I'll find something with at least 1 or 2 girls that I like in them, and then experiment around them.
