I get logged in and then when I go to another thread it says I'm not logged in and in most instances won't let me. It says you are logged in would you like to log out. I click on forum and no blue folders and the screen says not logged in. It's the worst today it's been. It has been a problem in the past as well. I finally ran crap cleaner and got logged in to post this but I bet when I try to go to another thread it will say I'm not logged in. Phew !

He's got you there, backdoorman!
I've been logged all weekend.
All is okay here - but if we have any missing posters maybe they are out there and can't respond because they can't log.

Thanks Conq it never even ocurred to me.
Damn it did it again and this time running crap cleaner didn't work. I had to make 3 or 4 attempts. I keep getting a screen that says I'm not logged in. When I click log in it says I am logged in would I like to log out? When I log out and log back in sometimes I get on and sometimes I don't. Geez.

Weird. I think I have been logged in since 2003. I don't know if you are using your own computer BDM but you might try just leaving yourself logged in. Works for me.

If you have software that interferes with the way that cookies are set on your system then you might have login problems.
Steph forwarded your recent email to her. It sounds to me like your browser is not sending the adultdvdtalk.com cookies to the forum.adultdvdtalk.com site. You mentioned that the system shows you as logged in when you visit your profile. The profile pages are on www.adultdvdtalk.com so your browser is sending the adultdvdtalk.com cookies to the www.adultdvdtalk.com site. As a fix, if you know how to delete your browser cookies remove any adultdvdtalk.com, www.adultdvdtalk.com and forum.adultdvdtalk.com cookies, close and restart your browser (not just the tab or browser window but all instances of the open browser) and then try to login.
Some privacy protection software will screw with the way cookies are handled. We set the cookie domain as a piece of at the top of each page. If you have disabled or some type of privacy software that strips this function then you'll have problems logging into our system.

After 15 minutes of the same thing and another email to Drew I rebooted the computer and finally got logged back on. Now let's see if it logs me off when I go to another thread.

Still on . That might have been the fix. Something hinky with my computer needing rebooting. Maybe.

If you delete your cookies while you have an active browser session and don't close your browser you will get strange results. Whenever you delete your cookies you need to close your browser immediately after deleting them for the changes to take effect. If you don't you have an indeterminate session state with the web server and will get bizzaro behavior.

Is there a reason I might want to delete my cookies?

If you're on a diet and don't want the temptation constantly sitting there in the subconscious. Other than that, i dunno.

You will stay logged in unless you specifically logout.
