Used to be, before reviews, I'd buy anything with Ginger Lynn. Not anymore. Now I have very stringent rules:
-must have anal and
-must have swallowing, but no accumulation
I save a lot of money this way, but miss a lot of girls who look hot!

The reason I read and post here is because I am picky! I don't want to spend my hard earned dough on things that don't end up being what I like. The scene by scene reviews are priceless.

I don't know if I've gotten pickier, but the overall quality of my library has certainly gone up. I have far fewer lame movies since I've been actively researching movies with reviews.

It's best when you've read someone's reviews for a while and get to know their likes and dislikes. Oh, the screenshots help a lot, too.

if money is an object when it comes to buying your porn i would suggest that you pick up an online rental membership. that way you can get as much as you want and then if you find something you really like then you can buy it. low investment high return :-)

I don't know if I'm getting more picky, but I know I like to see certain acts more than others. For example, I used to like watching straight 1 on 1 porn with no anal, swallowing or anything like that, but now.... I tend to like scenes more if
they have anal, gaping, 2/3 guys on a girl - and I can't leave out cream pies!

Granted I don't buy a lot of porn these days, but my tastes have changed a bit from my first days of porn (Vivid/Wicked) to now (PXP/RLD).

And cv, I agree, screenshots help a lot, hence the reason I use them in my reviews. Well not all but a good portion.

* Shot on film

* 24P 16:9 anamorphic DVD

* Unless it's an all male title, it must have credible female orgasms

I'm very very very picky. First, I have to like most of the girls in the movie, but that's easy to find. The movie must have anal, must have sex in the cowgirl position preferably anal cowgirl. Also, males are very important. There's a bunch of guys in porn that annoy the hell out of me and I want give a second look to a title if their names are on the box! I find that newer guys with less confidence on camera are far less annoying.

I'm definitely more picky.There are too many variables that I require nowadays.

When I'm in the store the first thing I look for is DP.If I see a DP on the boxcover,then I make note of the company/director.I do this because I am ridiculously picky about camera angles,not just for DP,but straight(vag)cowgirl or penetration I like the full frontal shot always.

Alot of things I miss in alot of gonzo are the tease/slow strip,etc.I also like the amatuer styled stuff,although alot of those companies seem to have disappeared or gone online.I like the innocence/nervousness and freshness of amatuer girls.

And plus I obsess over seeing every new cutie get DP'd,which despite the popularity of gonzo,is not realistic.I mean,August and Lani Lei have held out on me for this long!

Anway,I hope to wean myself off porn quite soon,it's just too much!

I'm definitely way too picky these days. I am big time into feet, and if I see on the dvd cover that the majority of the girls are wearing shoes or socks? I will not rent the movie. Back in the days, almost all the girls wore high heels in every scene, so I basically had no choice but to sit through it. But now...I'll hold out for bare feet.
