Does anyone else have problems with Flesh Hunter 2? My dvd does not play all the way to the end and I cannot access the beginning very easily. My player says that there is a dirty or defective disk. This is very similar to the problems I had with Straight to the A. I will have to exchange it for a new disk.

Incidentally, I exchanged for the second time (third copy), Straight to the A, and it finally seems to be free of problems -- third time a charm.

Wally, if you are still looking for straight to the A, 300 book center may have a new batch in and these are the disks without the original defect.

I just ordered FH 2 from Adult DVD Now. I have purchased quite a few DVD's that were either defective or weren't compatible with my DVD Player(s).
Perhaps there were some problems during the DVD tranferring process which means there could be a whole batch of defective FH 2 DVD's.
I should receive my copy of FH 2 tomorrow. I'll let you know if I have any problems.

Likely, I had a problem with Rocco: Animal Trainer 2, but that didn't matter, because I didn't like it, so I returned it.

Now onto the topic...

I just oredered Flesh Hunter 2 from DVDempire. I really hope that this is a fluke, RonK, because this film looks so incredible.

But we will see...

As we didn't have any problems in our test runs here at Evil Angel DVD, I'll wait until I hear back from all of you before I go do anything more than test a few more copies on a couple different players.

Crap!! We may have a Red Light District problem, but Sony Players were the only ones that were ok...and that's the player I have...now I really can't wait until Saturday - Win or Lose.

Please Tricia, say it isn't so! I had planned on buying this DVD on my next order but now I may have to wait. It really is distressing to hear when these kinds of problems affect something you had your hopes on but I guess one has to just deal with it. I also have a Sony player and have never had trouble playing any of my disc's, but obviously there is a first time for everything...*sigh*

I did not intend to be the bearer of bad news, but I did have problems and was trying to determine whether it was my player, a fluke single defective copy, or a bad production run. Since Wally and I bought the dvd in NYC, it might be a bad production run that was sent to NYC distributors. Hope that is not the case and I can get a replacement that works next week or so.

I have had pixallation problems with Evil Angel dvds in the extras because they tend to have longer playing times in their dvd, but I had never been unable to play all the way through and never had problems accessing the menu directly.

I rented Flesh hunter 2 yesterday and had problems with the last scene (Alexa Rae). Lots of pixelization and lock-ups.

These problems occurred with a Panasonic RP56 and a Toshiba 5109. However, I had no problem playing this same disc in a Pioneer 727 mega-changer.

My copy is also on its way, I really do hope that it was a fluke.

There's nothing that sucks more than buying a DVD you've been wanting, watching it, and finding out there is a problem. So I should know tomorrow or Monday if there is a problem. I hope there isn't!

Over the last day, we have tested MANY copies on 4 different DVD players, plus on my WinDVD software at home.
The first 3 players and WinDVD had no problems, but a Panasonic which is usually flawless would not load the discs at all.

Currently, our authorer and replicator are both investigating the problem, and both will report back to us on Monday or Tuesday (this is a holiday weekend).

I know how frustrating it is for all of you that are experiencing a problem. Please try to be patient, and know that Evil Angel DVD will do everything we can to alleviate your problem. We don't believe it will be necessary to do a full recall, since it seems so far that it will work on most players. But we will offer exchanges for those of you that it does affect.
If you would like to help us out, if you ARE having a problem with playback or the disc freezing, and you have access to another DVD player, give it a try.

By the way, just to let all of you know, Jules Jordan has been investigating this right along with me since the second he saw the thread.

Please keep posting.

Got the DVD today, played great until the last chapter, the screen went pixelated and then it stopped.

I will try it in my other DVD players and report back.

That scene was so fucking hot, and when it ending like that out of nowhere, I went limp!

I have a DVD-ROM (Gateway, which works excellently, plays just about every disc except some Red Light District) I watch DVDs on this one first to see if they are worth the money I spent, and to see if they work. Also to do reviews, which I was just about done with, when the screen froze.

I have a Zenith, which I will admit is getting up there, but works excellently, plays every DVD I own or have owned (200+) and I see no reason to replace it just to watch one f**king DVD.

My father owns a DVD player as well, but I wasn't about to fire up the unit and watch some girl get buttfucked with my father there. Though he would probably watch it, it's not something I would want him to see.

The Verdict : If you have a Sony DVD player it will play fine. I have 3 different Sony DVD players throughout the house (not bragging) and it plays fine on all of them. I was so happy....you guys were scaring me. I was so happy that mine plays fine (I hate returns.)

-I feel bad for you guys....my only suggestion - get a sony.

my only suggestion - get a sony.

yeah well I don't fuck with what works. My DVD player I have has been working for three years with no problem. No broken parts that needed repair. No problem reading any of my other pornos, except for one (Rogue Adventures 3, another EA disc).

So while I would love to go out and buy a new sony, that ain't gonna happen, not for one (two) DVDs.

Plus it could be a problem with those shipped to the East coast, since it seems that the majority of the problems are coming from the east.

I would return it from where I got it, but I have been down that road before, and I don't like shelling out money to return the disc several times, just to get another one that may or may not work (like I did with Rogue 3).

The point is I bought this, $26+ with shipping, and to pay $4 for shipping, and another $4 again, it adds up quickly, as I told that Tricia when I had the trouble with Rogue 3.

Once you buy a disc it's yours, why would I want to keep sending it back and keep getting shit copies in return. I would gladly return it if I knew for sure the problem was fixed. But there's no way knowing how many copies are fucked up.

hey steve, where'd you buy yours from?

Ok folks, I went ahead and bought Flesh Hunter 2 anyway after hearing all the fuss being made about it and I just recieved my order today. And just finished playing it on both my Sony player and DVD-ROM and it works great I'm happy to report! All I can say is thank the Infernal Godz of Lust that my copy is in perfect condition. And of course, Jules Jordan and all at EVIL ANGEL for producing yet another outstanding title of fine filth!

Hi all! Thought Id post my information, concerning my results.. Been reading this thread..so I made time today to quickly test my DvD copy I recieved today In my mail.. FHunter#2 from ADVDNOW. This is what happens in both my DVD players a pioneer model#DV626D and a Sony DVP S560D.. You have to keep loading untill it starts to read usually takes an average of 3,4 try's before you get the Menue, and when u do,if I press play on menue it shuts down both machines ,just shutsdown and ejects the disc(Crazy, huh? twilight Zone)lol. Any way only way to get to the material on the disc is to enter thru by selecting Chapter Index on opening menue.. In conclusion Im a happie camper because I can play this disc,, hate to go thru the hassle of returning products.. Hope my info is helpful.. This disc definately is problematic.. P.S Feel for you guys who can't play it at all . (bummer) Latter,Guys&Gals

I'm not sure how Evil Angel distributes their DVDs, if they release one batch to one location and one batch to another.

I bought mine from Adultdvdempire.com, east coast.

I believe ADNow is in California or Arizona, not sure.

So that could be the problem.

This truly sucks because I've been waiting for this DVD for awhile, and to wait any longer...

Got mine today-it doesn't work. At all.
You can hear the disc spinning (longer than normal), then I get an onscreen error message: Your XBox doesn't recognize this disc.

I've only seen one other disc where this occurred, an import all-region disc that the XBox just couldn't read for some reason.

At least the cover looks nice...

It's not just a problem of different "batches". We approve a check disc copy at the office, and if it works fine on 2 different players (which it did), we approve it, and the replication company does ONE run of however many we ordered, usually several thousand.

Sometimes it is possible that a small portion of the run could have problems, and the rest of the run is fine, but more likely, those of you that are having problems would have the same problem with the ENTIRE stock that we currently have.

So, although I can't get you a new copy that would work IMMEDIATELY, like I said, we are having both the authorer and the replicator do "autopsies" of their masters so we can see what may have gone wrong and get another master into replication as soon as possible.

For those of you that are not having a problem, at least that solves us having to do a recall of the ones that have already been sold. As for whether or not we will continue to sell our remaining current inventory, that will be decided next week. We have put a hold on sales of FH2 until we know more info.

At any rate, we have already made the only decision we could so far - we are going to make a new master disc, and run a new batch from that. The disc artwork will be varied SLIGHTLY (nothing to make people need to see the new version), just something so people can tell the difference between the two copies. Perhaps something in the background art, I'll be talking to my graphic artist next week.

Again, I am very sorry. We're working as hard as we can to get this sorted out.

We have already sent a fax to all of our DIRECT customers telling them to take any complaints of defective discs seriously. We also said that a new copy from the current inventory probably won't help anyone, so a refund or advice to wait until the new discs are available are problably the only 2 things that will help right now.

Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee...

I got to watch Jules blast Alexa's face after I tried some rubbing alcohol on it...

Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee, Yippee!

So fucking happy, don't know if it works in my standalone. But it works in my DVD-ROM, so the review will be finished later. ANOTHER 5 to JULES/EVIL ANGEL, and thanks to VictoriO who reminded me to use rubbing alcohol.

Haven't tried it in my standalone DVD player yet, but it did work in my DVD-ROM, and that is usually more fussier.

So, thanks again good buddy, VictoriO, and look for the review sometime soon. Since I got to see the end face blast delivered to Alexa, I finished the review. Another 5!

I'll post tomorrow, as I have to get some sleep, if it worked in my other DVD player.

So goodnight all, and I hope ya'll get to see and enjoy this work of art!

Sorry. Wrong verdict Steve. I have a Sony S7000 Reference Standard player (not bragging either) and FH2 Freezes 1:37 into the movie. This is the only EA title I've had a problem with.
Fortunately, it's a rental. I will wait for the kinks to be worked out before purchasing this title.

It still doesn't work in my standalone DVD player, from about the same point on the disc as Jeff.

But it does, for some unknown reason, work in my DVD-ROM which is very odd. But I have a 19 inch viewable screensize monitor, so it's not that bad. When the problem is fixed, if there is one, I will exchange it, most definitely!
