My DVD players are spiting out this one - disc spinning like crazy, picture break up, stuttering image, freezing, and the last 2 scenes won't play at all.

Anyone experienced problems with this disc?

my copy of weapons of ass destruction 2 is all fine and dandy, not a singe problem wrong with the disc. Your copy might have been damaged in some may in shipping or is a dud disc.

Actually, I haven't received any complaints on this title.

How long have you had it, what type of players have you tried it on, where did you buy it, have you tried cleaning it? Are there any visible scratches or other types of damage to the disc?

It is strange, I haven't had any problems with any of the other EA dvds, even the famous Flesh Hunter 2 release played fine.

As for WOAD2 I've only just received it, there are no major scratches on the disc as far as I can see (it's pretty mint condition wise) and I've tried cleaning it but without much luck. I place the dvd in the player and it reluctantly starts to spin up, it skips past the EA legal notices for some reason straight to the menu. From here I can play the first 3 scenes (be it with the odd freezing up, pausing, and breaking up with the picture) but trying to access the last 2 scenes just causes everything to freeze. Also, none of the extra features are accessable and trying to select them also cause it to freeze.

My main player is an LG by the way. Like I mentioned before it has played all EA releases fine so far. I'm wondering if maybe WOAD2 was manufactured slightly differently to previous EA releases or something? It's got me baffled anyway.

Sounds like the fake WOAD 2 i picked up in San Diego. Mine did the exact same thing. I think it was fake as the printed cover was extremely faded. Upon returning it to the store, the guy gave me a full refund. I got another copy from the Hustler store in LA and it played fine.

I just replayed my WOAD2 DVD today. No problem running it on my Onkyo DR-C500 DVD receiver. And my Onkyo is pretty finicky too with the discs it let play.
