When I first signed up they were as fast as netflix.

I could have DVDs sent out, viewed and returned within 7 days. Last month or so they have been taking twice as long or longer.

Anyone else notice this?

I hate to cancel my membership because of their selection and they were the best thing going but this is starting to get annoying.

Not noticing any slowdown here. I stick the envelope in the mail, and six to seven days later I get new discs. For CA to MN I think that's pretty good.

PSG1,

I have recently stated on this forum that I have been experiencing the very same problem with my BushDVD account.
However, they are investigating...& supposedly my situation is an isolated incident...they say it's due to USPS discrepancies...I hope this improves soon...My Xrent account is even FAST in comparison...

P.S.-I have not been receiving the older white mailers since they started sending out the yellow ones.

I did get 2 today that shipped on the 14th.

Hopefully things are getting back on track.

No problems here. Not sure where you're residing, but I am here in CA and I recieve my DVD's in 3 days. The fastest is 2 days. But normal shipping from USPS is always 3 days for me, even Fedex, and UPS from southern CA.

I have seen some of the posts regarding the slow down, but I have not experience any of delay. I am currently going on 1 year with Bushdvd and I am happy to say they are doing a wonderfull job.

I'm pretty sure whatever problems people are having are caused by the postal system, not by anything on Bush's end. I live in Connecticut and receive my BushDVD shipments in 3 days, sometimes just 2 (!). If it's taking my discs 3 days to travel across the country, and Evil Angel is Best's take the same amout of time to travel across California, I can think of only one possible culprit - the USPS. It's a complex system, and any little change anywhere along the process could probably affect shipping time.

Dating back to around the middle of December, I have consistently encountered this problem. I have upgraded to the 6 rental plan to try to help things out. However, around a week after I did that things seemed to get a little faster again, though 2 of the packages will get back to them as quick as they used to while the 3rd one will still take up to 7 days to get to them. As far as how long it is taking for the packages to get to me, I was lucky I guess. It used to be rare that a package took longer than 2 days to get to me. Now, the absolute fastest I can hope for is 3 and 4 is the norm while 5 is not unexpected. Maybe I'll get back to that past netflix-like speed, but since this has been likely caused by forces outside of BushDVD's control I am not giving my hopes up. I've figured this is just going to be the new norm for my area.

As long as packages stop taking 6 or 7 or more days to get back to them, I can live with it.

Postal system sucks.

I think we need a East Coast place to fix the problem. My rentals that arrived today took 5 business days to get to me.
