Last night I was replying to a thread and wanted to include the IAFD link to the movie I was recommending. I always use the IRL button to create a link rather than require readers to copy and paste, which can be a bit of a pain in the ass on some devices. I had drafted the text of the reply and then went to add the link and got this:

When I clicked on the 'register' button, I got this:

Untitled1.jpg

I logged on to ADT this morning and replied to several threads successfully. Then I went to the same thread as last night and rewrote my post and added a couple of screenshots in. No problem... except that when I went to copy in the IAFD address I got the same thing - I got locked out.

It seems that my IP address was blocked as I couldn't access ADT on another device using the same IP address either. It resolved itself after a little bit.

So I rewrote my post once again and included the photos but not the IAFD links this time and it worked.

Is there something wrong with IAFD links to movie pages? I frequently post them in case someone wants to see sites that sell or rent that title.

Apologies for all the dead space in this post, that's an issue with the screencaps that I can't fix.

Next time this happens email me the link and the incident ID. There's something in the URL that's looking like a hacking attempt to the WAF software.

^ Thanks Drew. If my theory is right I should be able to duplicate it. I'll aim to do that this evening.

I was able to look up the incident ID posted above. The link is triggering a SQL injection rule in the WAF software. I'll see if I can add an exception.

^ Good to know I wasn't doing something wrong. I've copied IAFD links many times but this triggered me being kicked out. I did try to post the link again here without using the URL button and I was kicked out again even without an active link.

Thanks!
