I ordered and paid for seven DVDs on March 23 from AdultDVDMarketPlace through a NY-based company called "Filthy DVDs." They advertised that the titles were in stock and even promised "lighting-fast shipping" and the like. But that lighting has yet to strike.

I got a receipt right away that said they would be shipped the next business day. That should have been a week ago today. So I need some advice...

Can anyone give me advice about "Filthy DVDs" or "AdultDVDMarketPlace"?

Thanks!

There was a recent thread here at ADT on AdultDVDMarketplace. They have great prices since they post from competing sellers. As for filthydvds, I've never had a problem with them. On the 2-3 occasions I ordered from them, I got the DVDs in 3-4 days.

Have you tried contacting them? I don't remember if they use media mail or regular USPS but that might explain the delay. Hope it works out for you.

I ordered one movie from Filthy DVDs through Adult DVD Marketplace on March 28.

I'll let you know how it goes. My receipt specifies "media mail," so I'm not expecting my order to arrive until next week.

The DVD arrived today, within the expected shipping time. No complaints, except that the disc is scratched after coming loose in the case. Two prongs broke off the hub. That's not Filthy DVD's fault, however. The case was sealed in shrinkwrap and shipped in a padded envelope. It looks like the disc is still playable.

Well, since Media Mail can often take two to three weeks, I'd wait another week. If you're really worried I might also try e-mailing the seller to see if they shipped on time rather than starting a complaint in the forums when your problem might be with the post office rather than the seller.

Hey Denali,

I have ordered a lot of dvd's from them over the last year or so, and they are really good. I usually get my dvd's like in a few days (I live in Oregon), but it depends on the mail. Sometimes it takes longer.. If you have any problems they will work with you to resolve them. Hope this helps!

Just so everyone knows, I wasn't trying to put out bad publicity for these guys with this thread. I was just trying to get some more info to make me feel good about a $150 purchase.

I tried e-mailing them over a week ago and didn't get a response. So then last week I sent a request through the website. I got a response the next day saying they couldn't find my order.

BUT in the mean time, I got an e-mail response from the account I e-mailed to start with. He said his response was based on my post HERE. That made me laugh. They said I could rest assured the DVDs had been sent within 48 hours. He said this was "free country" and I "can chat anywhere I'd like." Thanks for the written permission!

BTW, I still don't have them. I paid two weeks ago today.

I got seven DVDs today as I had ordered. I didn't get the SAME DVDs that I ordered, but seven none the less. I ordered Flesh Hunter 2 & 3 but got Ass Worship 2 & 3 instead. Easily misunderstood since I did order Ass Worship 4 & 5. ;)

I'll let everyone know how sending them back goes...

Okay, I'm having a bit of a problem understanding the English here. I think what you're asking can be summed up here from the Adult DVD Marketplace Buyer's Guide:

DON'T BUY FROM FILTHYDVD's via ADULT DVD MARKETPLACE.
I ordered 3 DVD's on March 30th. After seeing this thread, I contacted FilthyDVD's via E-mail to check the order status. They replied that they never recieved any such order and that I should order again. ADM MEDIA billed my credit card on the 30th, so I won't try ordering again and being billed twice. FilthyDVD's was quite emphatic that they are a different company and I got the impression I'll have to contest this with my Credit Card company. Save yourself trouble and avoid them all together.

The smarter thing to do would be to contact ADM. They've been extremely honest and fair in all I've done with them (including a few problems which were resolved extremely fairly IMHO). If the order shows with ADM, then Filthy DVDs is going to get paid for them. If Filthy is saying that they aren't getting the orders and aren't going to ship them because of it, then they shouldn't get paid for the orders either.

I did just that and was amazed by the fast response. I was given a different E-mail address in which to contact FilthyDVD's. I'll do that later if they don't arrive soon. Please disregard my earlier post. Adult DVD Marketplace is quite a stand up company so far. I'll post when I get them.

I can cleary say now that AdultDVDMarketplace is the only place I will buy my DVDs. I started this topic because I had a concern about shipping time from FilthyDVDs. It did take two weeks, but the site does say it can take up to three weeks. I didn't see that however because I ordered through AdultDVDMarketplace site rather than the FilthyDVDs site because of the lower prices listed on ADM.

Anyway as it relates to the incorrect titles, I sent ADM an e-mail late yesterday afternoon and got a response FIRST THING this morning. Their letter promised this would be fixed and at no cost to me. They contacted FilthyDVDs for me and they offered to correct the mistake and even through in a free DVD of their choosing for the mishap.

So it appears that all is well that ends well.

Thank you AdultDVDMarketplace!

I'm Still waiting for my order that I placed on March 30th. I've had correspondence with both Filthy and ADM and they were very fast to respond. Media Mail freakin' sucks though. I don't understand why even with low priority that a package whould take over 15 days to get from NJ o CA. I'd expect that in the Third World, but not from USPS. I'd much rather pay extra for priority mail next time, Media Mail is worthless.
Hopefully they will arrive sometime this week, but I'm starting to doubt it.
Life is too short to use MEDIA MAIL.

I'm still waiting for my order from March 30th. I think some Postal worker is enjoying my movies. Filthy DVD's have said they'd reshipp if they're not in by this Saturday. The big question is if they'll ship it priority for me since I've already waited 3 weeks. I don't blame Filthy at this point, I would blame USPS, but with no way to track the package, I can't say for sure where to pin the blame. Filthy has been very speedy in their response to me, we'll see if they are that quick to satisfy me if they don't show this week.

They just came in. The order is correct so all is good now. Took exactly 3 weeks and a day for them to reach me. Good old
USPS takin' their time.

This thread interests me since I just ordered 4 dvds from filthydvds.com thru adult dvd marketplace. Before I ordered I went to the website http://www.filthydvds.com and I assumed they were one in the same. So am I to understand that the website and the seller on adult dvd marketplace are different entities? It would seem the people with the website company would be interested in making the other independent seller change their name since the confusion could throw people off not to mention that if the independent seller messes up it could give the website company a bad name with people who don't realize they are separate sellers. Just my thoughts. I only hope my order doesn't get messed up since I did get a verification e-mail from adult dvd marketplace but did not get one from the seller themself. And the listings for the dvds I bought are still there a day later after I purchased them, I would have thought they'd be unlisted by now since I bought them (unless they have multiples of them to sell). Peace

Most sellers don't give a second confirmation and big stores like filthydvds normally have several copies of each title. From my experience both worries are unnecessary.
