Anyone know the REAL story of Spring Thomas?

I know money talks and such but this 'experiment' seems a bit more complex than that. Spring Thomas was a benchmark of sorts and there has to be a ton of good stories/information. Where did she come from? Was she a student,middle class,prostitute ect...I heard something about her having a bad drinking problem at one point which I can believe because she looked TERRIBLE at some points on the site...Anyone know how she felt about the disgusting racist nature of the site? How did she feel about and interact with her fellow performers behind the scenes ect. Anything you can offer will be good as the lady is somewhat of an urban legend at this point. I can't speak for Blacks on Blondes' customer base, but a LOT of the hate mails that are vile and racist come from the members' area. Finally, I'll admit to perpetuating a lot of myths about black males -- from penis size to the way society perceives them. What I find hard to believe is people actually buy into it.
