I quite like the idea of well known stars in unfamiliar costumes rather than the normal lingerie/nurse/schoolgirl.. etc.

I noticed a thread recently about 'Michelle Wild and 'Niki Belucci' in a japanese film called 'costume play'.

I really like costumes and decorated sets. Just making an effort - even a small one - makes a difference to me. Could be a really pretty bustier or certain type of stilletos. I think the set also plays into it. If you have a cheesy or crappy set it takes away from the costumes.

never seen any really good scenes, besides regular overused costumes. But I'm all for it if it looks natural and good. And if it even makes an extra worth seeing, then it's just great.

But yeah, a cheesy or crappy set takes it all away.

I like Costumes as long as they do not cover up too much of the female body. I wanna see the chick not the costume but when done to my taste I can really get off on it.

costumes are great and I am all for them! however, the problem with them in an adult film is that they're going to have to come off. at what point is it too much for a costume? When I saw "Rawhide" far too much of that film had costume difficulties. the problem is that not many know how to go from the costume to sex without it appearing unbelievable.

i think costumes are really cheesy because for a good 5 mins the girl is wearing the thing, modeling the chessy costume, and rubbing it all in the dudes face. i always FF if it seems to be a huge focus in a scene

A lot of the Private features have suitably appropriate costumes (Tatiana, Pyramid, etc.). Period pieces and costumes are a nice change of pace from the slutwear so typical of your typical gonzo/all-sex porno.

Then again, there are good things to be said about the candy striper outfits from Butt-Banged Naughty Nurses or some of the cheerleader-oriented titles.

I like the way Private girls are dressed in some movies (as mentionned above). It's not only the costumes, it's also hair, makeup and everything.
When I first saw "Virtualia" I was very impressed by the way she wore her hair.

I like slutwear AND costums, at least some of which should be left on for the scene.

I completely agree with you, Floraman. Don't get me wrong, the naked female body is most definitely a work of art but I wouldn't mind seeing various costumes being utilized more often in porn.
