I know there is a thread already in International Shopping Forum.

I am wondering if there are any US buyers who have tried this store. I am interested in knowing what your experience of this store (US delivery time, e-mail response, etc.) is. I have noticed that they have very competive prices (especially for Evil Angel titles). Any opinion appreciated. Thanks.

I placed an order with them on January 26th. I haven't received it yet. They don't send a shipping confirmation from what I understand so I don't know if it hasn't shipped yet or if it is enroute. I sent them an e-mail yesterday inquiring about it and haven't heard back yet. To early for me to state if it is a positive or negative experience.

Hmm...no confirmation nor status update. I don't think that contributes to you positive experience.

It's been a week, eh? I don't know where the store and you are located nor what shipping method you chose nor whether the titles you ordered are in stock. I would appreciate it if you could keep us updated about your experience, as I am somewhat reluctant to order titles from new stores. Thanks.

Yeah, I too am/are in Flash's shoes. Order placed in late Jan. still waiting, although I have e-mailed a " Noelle" who works there, and they say my order should be filled soon. I will post again when I have more info, good luck Flash.

To keep you all updated, I received a response from Flixes on January 4th telling me that I title that I didn't order was out of stock and I could pick another for up to 25% more. But no mention was made of the two titles that I did order. I e-mailed back on the 4th and have yet to receive another reply from them. I'll continue to keep you updated.

I sent another e-mail today since my last one appears to have been unanswered. I'll continue to keep you updated.

Thanks for updating us, Flash.

As far as I can tell, your transaction with them seems to be ... well ... not smooth, to say the least. I am not sure if I want to shop at Flixes to take advantage of their competitive prices instead of shopping at, say, AdultDVDEmpire, which has one the top notch customer services.

Please keep us posted. After reading this thread and the one in the international shopping forum I'm getting very concerned about keeping this store in the price search.

Being an international buyer I have placed an order through for 2 discs. I did get responses to my emails. Whilst the discs took longer than the stated 1 week to show up, they did show up so I have no problems buying from them in the future.

I received a reply yesterday to my most recent e-mail. It said that the first one had an error and both films that I ordered were not in stock and it would be a couple weeks before they have it. In addition to the 25% more they also offered a 4 hour DVD thrown in too if I made alternate choices. I requested a refund at this point and told them to e-mail me when the titles are in stock and I'll buy them then. They have not confirmed that they will be refunding my money yet. I'll continue to keep you updated.

I ordered several DVDs from Flixes at the end of January. All of the titles I ordered were showing as "In Stock, ships immediately".
It is now Feb 18 and half of my order has not been shipped yet (the couple of titles that have already arrived still took almost 2 weeks to arrive). I am located in CA about 1hrs drive from where they are located - so shipping delay does not factor.
I have received some polite and very apologetic correspondence from "Noelle" via email offering to give me a bonus title to compensate for the delay. (If I had ordered just one DVD I would not expect this).

Based on this experience I would say that the low prices (on some titles) are offset by the fact that they don't hold stock on titles that they claim to have in stock. If I order from them again I will just assume the stock info is BS and that I will have a long wait. If you are not in a hurry then some of the pricing is great.

To finalize my transaction with Flixes, on February 16th I received an e-mail telling me that as per my request my order was cancelled and my credit card was being refunded. On February 18th my card was actually refunded with the money for the order. I doubt I will ever attempt a transaction with them again after this experience.

Bump to hopefully hear from someone who's had a positive experience with Flixes! I'm thinking of ordering some cheap classic Caballero titles from them since I'm sick of waiting for 5 Star DVD to get them in stock.

I noticed Flixes website has changed from saying everything is in stock and ships same to day to saying everything is in stock and ships in either 1 or 3 days.

I'd stick with 5 Star.

Flixes is horrible.

They charged my card, claimed to have shipped the DVDs (according to their website), but they never came. Tried contacting them numerous times over the past three weeks. No response.
