I had heard the term tantric sex, and was curious what that meant exactly, more 'New Age' hocus pocus? At first I thought it was learning how to keep still during sex - and THAT is hot, you know, just stop mid-thrust & see how long you can fight that urge to move. Girls, this is where you can drive him crazy massaging his penis just using those inner muscles! Whewww! Ruffff!!
But, I'm sorry to report that 'Tantric' translates to 'Sucker', I think. Below are some parts I took from an article I read by a couple searching for their "Inner Gods & Goddess's" (and also for some fresh nookie.)

Wow; what a weekend! Alan and I recently spent a Friday evening and two very full days at a workshop of sixty-three souls, plus a few brave individuals who arrived by themselves.
Ms. Clarke, 26, says she used to run an escort service under a pseudonym until she learned Tantra at one of the Muirs' workshops and later as a...partner to Mr. Muir. She dumped the escort business and started a Tantra-training company, Temple of the Goddess.

All weekend, participants practice "the passion pump," a breathing exercise the teachers say helps move sexual energy from the groin area and up through the back to the head.
That explains those whale-like blow holes everyone leaves with!

Picture 25 couples encircling a male and female teacher team as they demonstrate Kama Sutra love positions on a mattress in the middle of a large hotel conference room.
Sounds like porn set to me.

"One who was "a stranger" only moments before, suddenly became the Truth of the Beloved before our very eyes!
Also known as "Last Call"

Choosing a partner (not our own), we harmonized our breathing, and looking deeply into one another's eyes, we asked until we each opened to the soft core, "What are you afraid you'll see?"
How about your mug on Americas Most Wanted next week?

"Guys, think of your penis not just as something to get up and get off, but as a wand of light" "Dance on his magic wand, ladies,?
It probably is glowing by now, but not in a good way.

"People who do Tantric exercises have more juice on all levels."
Goddess moppers needed

"We spent the weekend brewing Love Soup, and swimming in it."
Goddess moppers needed URGENTLY!!!

?Charles & Caroline Muir are emissaries from the future"
This is your clue to LEAVE NOW, before the mass suicide idea starts sounding rational!!!

?It was like God was in our bed"
Come on...a 3-way is a 3-way, I don't care what he said his name was

In brief, the Goddess-nonspecific, no-linear, spontaneous, simultaneous, holographic intelligence-showed up to spend the weekend with us.
Yeah, yeah...Dream on

The beloved?s role is to lie back, enjoy, and give feedback She may feel like peeing (it?ll pass), or have physical reactions (burning, bruising), or emotional outbursts (rage, distrust, crying) related to past experiences (which may require therapy).
Oh, and just ignore her screams of 'HELP! GET ME OUT OF HERE NOW!'

" When we parted company on Sunday evening, it was only after realizing that we each had connected with virtually everyone in our shared experience, carrying the energies of each person away in our own energy field"
Better get your energy field to a clinic, ASAP

$80-$200 an hour for individual work, and $300-plus for weekends.
But beware, since there are no established credentials "Once you open your heart -- and other body parts -- be prepared for uncomfortable emotions."
Kind of like getting fucked in the ass?
If someone is going to touch you for ?sexual healing? or stick a finger up your butt for a ?sacred spot massage,? better stick to well-known, highly visible providers.

Well, I'm new here to the forum but not too new to the subject matter. Been reading yalls postings for a while now and though I'd blend in very well since this forum covers most of my favorite subjects.....

Tantra is used to describe a wide range of sex. "To tantalize" would be a fair way of simplifying it. The sessions you exampled sounds more like a cross between yoga, kama sutra, and dumbasses with too much money and ain't getting good fucks....
I'm in total agreement with you about the intensity that can be found by having sex without moving much. Drives you beyond the edge, doesn't it. Kinda what we used to call the slow-grind, just even slower...... If you can use those inner muscles like you say, then you are one of just a few....... It is simply one of the most pleasurable experiences a man can have and I bet not many have had sex with one who can "operate" like that...... Has your partner displayed the Male keegals??????

Fortunately, the only thing my partner displayed was his ass,
on his way out the door......with some assistance from my boot, heh heh.

Welcome, Diver! Glad to have you here, and I admit I'm intrigued - MALE kegels? This sounds like too much fun, is this how you give your cum distance and velocity? Kind of like
the shotput for your pud?

Welcome out of the shadows diver

Blondie, this does sound a little on the cheese side, but heck, I laughed at your commentary all the way through, so it was worth it. lol

My old roomie practiced Tantra as a part of her spirituality, I learned alot from her sexualy and spiritually.

I have gleaned a few things from what I am assuming is the same website you ran across Blondie, and highlighted some of the truer principles of Tantra. I took the liberty of removing the "selling points".

"Ancient Tantra is a spiritual system in which sexual love is a sacrament."

"The tantric goal is to achieve a state where opposites cease to exist, where yin and yang are in perfect balance and duality is eclipsed. On a spiritual level this condition is considered a state of bliss, of ecstasy, of Unity."

"Psychologically, too, Tantra is a healing art. Tantric practices can discharge the negative power infusing the second chakra (the energy center for the genitals), and in so doing make enormous resources of positive energy available to all areas of life, not just the sexual. "

This is a pretty good website for informationClick here

And this talks more about Tantra as a spiritual path Click here as although sex is the fun part , there is much more to Tantra than just sex.

Luna - Glad you took it in the way it was meant & I could
make you laugh. You know me, I'll thrash anything for a
cheap laugh! I'm an equal opportunity thrasher!
As for Tantric, hell I'm for anything that promises a
"full body orgasm", but as one who likes to get right to the heart of the matter, I admit to having problems with
the obscure new age language. For instance, I read your
paragraph below twice & still not sure exactly what it means:

"Psychologically, too, Tantra is a healing art. Tantric practices can discharge the negative power infusing the second chakra (the energy center for the genitals), and in so doing make enormous resources of positive energy available to all areas of life, not just the sexual. "

If the genitals are the second chakra, what is the first chakra? And what is this 'negative power' that could be infusing them? Is this the same as being horny? I'm not making fun now, enquiring minds want to know!

Based on what I've learned, the first chakra, or energy center is the genetials, so I am unsure if that was their typo..? or there is a differnt teaching I am not familiar with..?
The best way I can explain the reference to negetive energy and clearing blockages is with a analogy of sorts.
When someone smokes in a house over time it seeps into the cutains, the walls, the furniture and there is the pervasive odor. (thank goodness for Febreeze huh? lol) Anyway, our bodies are similar, throughout our lives we are experience things that have an energy to them, in this type of healing, typically experiences like rape, molestation, or even just unfounded guilt from repressed sexuality development as children, create energy or "smoke" for the sake of our analogy.
So when you practice Tantra, you are starting to clear those blockages, or heal them with a positive, fufilling sexual experience.
Tantra is very in-depth as a sexual practice and a spiritual path, my explaination is paltry is comparison to all it truly is. But the basic concept is experiencing sex as more than a physical experience and recognising within yourself and your partner divinity.
Hope my humble knowledge helps...
