Actually 79 German Marks are about $36 (f***ing weak Euro :)), so most of the titles indeed ARE quite expensive, but nobody would pay $79 for such a film. Just wanted to clarify that.
Most of the German DVDs I've seen were of excellent quality. I often like them even better than the American ones because of the fact that many topics are far less problematic in Europe and the companies there aren't afraid that much about publishing something which might then be censored or forbidden for some reason, so I've often seen some things increase the heat which are not to be found in American DVDs. However, of course that's not the case with every DVD, and of course there's a lot of shit out there as well.
