Googles app for pictures and photos? I like the quick editing features like fill light and also the retouching feature works very well. When you save the edits to the file it says it is creating a backup of the original image. Anyone know where that original is saved? Some of my photos are large 3500+ pixels wide so I don't want odd strays and orphans of this size littering my hard drive.

I looked at it, but it wants a newer version of Windows than what I'm running.

Never used it but look in your documents folder. Programs will often save assorted shit there. If you haven't, check and see if the program created a new folder in your default pictures folder.

It's actually a cool program. It exhibits Goggles affinity for cataloging everything but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I consider it the Walter Burns of imaging software.

Haha. I love Picasa in some ways. I turned off all its web features and I recommend that for any google app.
I still like my favorite shotgun better.
