Whenever I log into my fav internet retail site, I always look for new dvds from My Plaything, Virtual Sex, 3rd Degree's Total Interactive Control, etc., and I've noticed that there hasn't been any new material for a long, long time. This is arguably my favorite genre of adult films and it seems to have died out. I realize that there are plenty of " generic" POV movies out there, but to have one of your favorite stars in an interactive setting is light years better IMHO. Look at the many stars that have become big names in the industry via the internet, such as Rachel Starr, Jayden Jaymes, Jenna Presley, and so on.Or the new euro crop like Aletta Ocean, Black Angelika, Cindy Hope, etc. For years, fans have dreamed about an interactive dvd from them, but so far, nothing. Maybe someone can shed some light on this.
It certainly seems so, maybe they were too costly and/or labor intensive and never garnered enough profit. I fear they are yet another victim of the economy and content theives. I have purchased "Interactive Sex" titles for Tori Black, Bree Olson, and Alexis Texas (btw Mike Quasar is the Orson Welles of this type of porn) I would lay money down for Interactive titles with Jayden James, Rachel Starr, Asa Akira, Jennifer White, Katie St. Ives, and last but not least Kristina Rose
Interactive movies are very expensive to produce and do not generate ancillary revenue from broadcast or internet, and in this era of free porn and flatlining DVD sales, they no longer generate enough profit to justify their production.

Keep your chin up jbailes! The porn industry will find a new way to enjoy an interactive experience with a favorite performer. They'll figure out a way to get it to work on our computers.
I also got the Interactive Sex titles you mentioned, plus the jenna haze and sasha grey. Alexis Texas only came out last year so as long the porn industry keeps producing very popular starlets then we will see more interactive titles. there was pretty decent progress made over the years when u compare the interactive sex line to the virtual sex with teagan presley/jesse jane titles from mid-2000s. if i was a porn producer would be looking how to take interactive porn to the next level with blueray and maybe packaged with the fleshlight as they have them specific to porn girls like tori, jenna etc. this type of porn i doubt is affected by piracy and file sharing due to its menu driven system, your not going to get the proper experience of a interactive title via one of those tube sites and i bet almost all the free porn users and file sharing ppl would be turned off by having to upload/download complete untouched dvds at 8.5GB each or bluerays at 50GB each

just a warning with sasha grey's there is one glitch with the menu that can be a little annoying during one of the anal sex parts if u then select cumshot can't remember exactly though but its something like that. haven't watched that one for ages, pretty sure its been discussed somewhere here in the forums

This saddens me. Your interactive disc with Bree Olson was fantastic. One of the last DVD's I actually bought because it brought all the added value in terms of production and interactivity that you can't find on the internet.
This is where content producers miss a possible stream of revenue. Why not sell us downloads of full dvds to burn ourselves? I've had to stop getting new porn because stores aren't feasible for me and I can't have disks delivered to home or work. If I could purchase and download dvds I could burn myself, I would. As it is, they don't get my money and I don't get the porn :-(
Many companies do this. We offer unlimited download at ztod.com. An interactive disc doesn't really lend itself to that format; you need the actual DVD.
That's my point! Sell me a download of the DVD. I don't want compressed scenes. I want chapter stops, menus, interactive dvds, etc. The thing is already authored, it would take no extra work to make it available. Plenty of guys would pay $20 to download a real dvd.
In several forum discussions, there was mention of a Kagney Lynn interactive. I believe I even read somewhere, Mr. Quasar saying it was to start filming soon. That was earlier this year though. I wonder if that project has been scraped? A Kagney interactive would be so awesome!
