Though I don´t think it´s even worth mentioning, since their titles are available at half the price when using ADT´s pricesearch or some of the European stores such as erodvd.nl, also check the topic on sources for Private titles on the Shopping Forum. | PrivateDVD Member 57 Posts 3/01 | Posted - Aug 7 2001 : 8:11AM - Private DVDs are all of them compatible with all region codes. - Private DVDs until DVD052 - XXX (included) are only in NTSC system. From DVD052 (number on the spine) and on, DVDs in PAL territories are in PAL system and in NTSC for the NTSC territories. - As Orgazmik has stated, PAL PS2 play both PAL & NTSC discs, but cannot force the output signal. So they just send the signal in the format of the disc. Then, if you are in a PAL territory you will need a multinorm TV to see any NTSC DVD (as with many other DVD players as the SONY ones). So, the_crow1234, you will be able to play PAL Private DVDs in your PS2, and all of them if you have a multinorm TV. Roger [Link] |
