Yes, but STD's are also transmitted through oral sex quite frequently and let's be honest, you can't really put a condom on your tongue. Granted it's not as risky as giving a blowjob without a rubber or bare-backing as seems to be the trend today, but there's still a risk. HAM's high over use of toys maybe an indication of that.
Anyways, getting girls to do a G/G scene without making it too obvious that they're faking it or doing it just to buff up their bank accounts, a director to do a scene without yawning his/her way through it or even a director who likes doing G/G, IMO, may also be an obstacle.

^ I would agree with you there. Providing the girls are genuinely into girls, actually like the person they are paired with and aren't concerned with a second rate wage, I can't imagine anything being easier. I look back to the old WLT episodes with Nikki & Sammie. Directing them must have been that easy, they probably didn't need any. There had to be something there between them because they did so many. I know Sammie did a bit of B/G early on but 90-95% of her career has been G/G only and Nikki was just G/G. Making a lesbian scene where one of the girls clearly isn't into G/G must be hard enough, getting a performance out of two who aren't into G/G must be nearly impossible. The same could be said of using a director who doesn't like shooting G/G. B Skow once said that he didn't care much for G/G and it shows in the stuff that he does shoot. But use the right people and what could be simpler?
