I have a weird problem with the disc where the pregame doesn't play and then it skipped to chapter three. I rented it so complained to the video store and they gave me two free rentals. If all the discs are like this I will not be buying.
Perhaps if the Anabolic people hear enough about it they will reedit and send out a fresh batch of discs and then I will trade mine in. I still highly recommend this as a purchase but you might want to rent first and see if you can play the scenes all the way through before watching the extras. My player never froze and it's not an expensive one at all. Perhaps Ariana can fill us in on what she talked about heading into the scene and that would make me happy!!
I'm not holding my breath waiting for that to happen.I'm going to try what worked for Ariana. I'll try to play the pregame and let the frozen screen sit there while I read a book. Maybe it will thaw out (isn't that the correct phrase for "unfreeze"?) and begin playing like it did for her.
Although I'm not happy that a portion of the bonus materials doesn't work properly, knowing that wouldn't stop me from buying this disc. I bought the DVD for the movie, not the bonus material. Had there been no bonus material on the disc in the first place, I would have bought this disc. So the fact that some of the bonus material doesn't work properly, while disappointing, doesn't make me regret my purchase.
