Does anyone know when Asa's Wicked contract ends? I seem to remember she announced it around the time of the AVN Awards last year. Wasn't it just for one year? Has anyone heard anything about what she plans to do afterward?
^^ I gotta say maybe it's a shame for you and for a lot of her fans but it's probably very good for Asa. Frankly there wasn't much she hadn't done in her career and there are very few extremes left she could go to. I'm sure her Wicked contract is for good money and not a lot of work. I wouldn't be surprised if she remains a contract girl like that for the rest of her career. She's earned it.
Yeah, the contract life has got to be pretty sweet for her. And I agree, it is very well deserved. But I do hope that sometime in the next five years she makes her triumphant return to gonzo. If she came back and made a new showcase with Mason... talk about breaking the internet. And I don't care that she's done pretty much everything under the sun. Seeing her tight body back in action in some truly filthy scenes is all I need. She doesn't need to innovate. She's Asa fucking Akira!

under wicked contract she disappears......she is the best active performer and she didn't win a single award this year. i cannot wait to see her back in gonzo world
Indeed. It's always puzzling to me when people say a performer has "done everything" as if the only value in a performance is to methodically go to greater and greater "extremes" and then presumably go away. A great performer is a great performer. Innovation and creativity need not involve more holes/cocks/fluids than the last time.
^ Exactly. Even if the physical acts are the same, a good performer can always bring a fresh level of intensity and passion. The things I look for most in a scene are authenticity and chemistry. Asa always brings those in spades.
KMB2476, her financial security is not my concern. Like the guys after you said, ever since her contract, she has basically fallen off the map. I hate to see that happen to such a kinky, wild performer. I say save the contracts for the girls who are only interested in vanilla sex. Personally, I hope she follows the path of Alektra Blue and returns to the filthy, gonzo shit I love! Who cares if she's already done gangbangs and dp's? Who's to say she can't do more?
Any news on Asa's current contract status? She first signed with Wicked in October 2013, then resigned for another year in 2014. So she should be coming up on the end of that one soon. Has she signed again with Wicked?

She is still highly popular and one of the most renown names in mainstream; still gets them a lot of attention. I would think from a business perspective they would want to keep her going; wouldn't you?
^ They absolutely would. The question is, does she? Given her stated long-term goal of becoming a Wicked Girl, she probably has re-upped with them. But I haven't seen any articles about it or statements on Twitter. Hope springs eternal and all that.

Doing hard gonzo work is taxing on the body; I would doubt she is eager to return to that workrate if things are going well with Wicked. With her media work, book, feature dancing around the country, I don't see much indication she wants to go back to 15 gonzo scenes a month to make a living.
